It's not impossible just highly unlikely, and the thing about world peace happening with everyone dead, this is true but I'm pretty sure if you die, on earth you won't have any happiness, or sadness, or feel anything at all. At least not on earth and his main point is that in order for him to be proved wrong everyone needs to be happy in the peace state and that can't happen if everyone is feeling nothing at all because their dead.

 

I would like to warn people that I am quite a pessimist, and if you do not wish to see my views, please discern this post.

World peace will not happen before human inhabitants cease to exist. So I can not really disprove that statement. Either way, someone will end up unhappy, it is all just cultures, if one were to change people by force and just live off of the land like everyone did thousands of years, people would be happy, the thing is human beings are brilliant. They want to advance, there is beauty in science, but it also disgusts me. People constantly trying to make THEIR lives better whilst others don't even have the life they do. People know about the terror in other places in the world, think about it and then move on with their lives, that is not happiness, that is ignorance. Life is tough, and nobody can honestly beleive that the world will become a better place before people figure out how to make bombs that level off continents. It is corrupted order, it is want, it is fulfillment of purpose, there is no purpose yet everyone seeks something. They all want to know what will become of them; they all want a future. Just constant knowledge is apparently more important than lives, knowledge is power. Not living people, or animals, the importance in everyone's mind is research, knowledge and development.

 

OMFG r u serious.....this is sooooo easy to prove wrong......make world peace then for those who arent happy just give em some marijuana everyday and they'll cheer up and laugh at everything and they'll be happy, and for those that refuse to use, simple: just kill em.

Yeah, your theory is good. Because if everyone got along, then the population would go up, and there would be less food for more people. I'm not saying is good if people die. But it won't be good if we have too many people either.

 

I agree with your opinion. In order for everyone to be content with there own
lives, you would need everyone to get along. Which if you've been in high
school, you'd know is impossible. Its just human nature not to like people that
are different from you. Even a slight one, people in different jobs might not
like each other, E.G. a garbage man despising a doctor.

I think if world peace did happen, it wouldn't be everyone content with there
lives... as that's simply impossible. It would be more a peace between
country's, no wars. Even that would be close to impossible to obtain since
people always find things to fight about.
But... heres my idea.
In order for everyone to be content with there own lives. Humans would no longer do any work, and would only have to worry about bettering there own
lives. Studying, inventing, keeping healthy, working on hobbies and hanging with friends would be what would make the days up. Maybe thousands of years in the future robots will do everything and this will be possible. Next, I think by that time, people will have figured out how the brain works, and know why people think something. So if someone is awkward, others can be understanding, as we'd know why and how to help him/her out or if someone
goes crazy, they'd know exactly how to make him act like his old self, etc.
I think it would need to be normal to express your desires and feelings.
Money would no longer need to be a problem. You can get whatever you need at anytime, no limits or anything. People wouldn't fight about what they had because everyone would be the same on the economic level.

There are probably many things people would still fight over In my "perfect world". But I think most people would be content with there lives. When I say people don't have jobs, I mean there jobs would be to learn and involve themselves with other people. Thanks for reading.

 

War's are fought for peace. If all people could get the idea out of their heads(especially the kid's today) I think their could be world peace. But no one not even I well ever be content with my lifestyle. Great topic

That proves you wrong yeah what that guy said read a bible, God created people to love eachother, Not to destroy each other, Like you and your brother/sister when you were young fight and hate, and as you mature you grow and love, and hopefully our age will grow and mature and love eachother as jesus told us too, and even if not now, then in heaven where god says its full of peace and has no end, thats truley enternal peace. In the end everyone will be happy. And it's your parents fault if your not, they raise you the way the want, if their careless then your ruthless.
