seeing as this is a Runescape orientated forum


Even though I'd much preffer It to be World of Warcraft

Well the Person im going to talk about it "Purepothead6" i meet him first on sythe by talking to him looking for Gold Farming i added him on msn and spoke to him getting to know him and suspecting him as a scammer like the rest of the people, he offered to do the job first very easy, which i was a bit worried about also incase he tryed to drop things/hold ransom (make me pay or level my defence) / steal, but i was in a good mood and trusted him.

We talked for hours after about life, the world and mainly runescape and our goals, surley enough he did the work and i paid him, he was still friends now and ive paid him for many other services :O lol, he is from America and im From UK so we always cant be on at the same time which can be a good thing if i wana go on.

But he is a fun guy, very hardworking and extremly trustworthy im pretty sure i could give him a cheque for a $1000 and tell him not to bank it and he wouldnt but i wont try that one haha.

I hope to stay friend with him for many years and get alone and talk more about life and the world and ofcourse runescape

 

Meh, here goes nothing, lol!

A couple of wonderous years ago i stumbled upon sythe.org. I remember my first post was, " if you need help, look on runehq.com " Of course i was flagged as a spammer, got an infraction, and lost my respect lol. But the best part i remember so far was when scammers were attacked by the genius staff of sythe.org.
A staff member ( i forget his name ) claimed that his account was msn was hacked, and perhaps the hacker scammed other sythe.org community members. As soon as that post hit, hundreds of scammers tried to prove that, when the mod was "hacked," that "hacker" stole items from them. Of course i lol'ed so hard because i knew that this was a bunch of bs.
The page immedietly went over 30+ pages of just post saying that they were scammed, and they wanted there items to be given back. About a week or 2 later, a list was posted by the same staff member. And guess what? A list of all the names who said that they had been scammed , or tried to prove that they were scammed was written and all of them were banned.
In conlcusion, after losing over 70m+ from scammers in sythe i concluded that most of the community, i'd say about 51% ( b/c thats most.) Are scammers. Of course it was funny, but i guess it brought the community closer because most people who were banned had friends on sythe.org. Perhaps the friends of the scammers finally got an answer and perhaps they were next to be scammed. So all i wanted to say was, From this event i learned that nobody can be trusted on sythe.org not even friends that you make, because they fully might be waiting for a moment to strike on you.

PS! I ain't doing it for the Prizes , but to have more of a off-black market kind of respect to see a normal person. Excuse my English aswell , it ain't my National language.

I have met Killa13 on the forum. Sadly i met him before i joined the Sythe.org community , but he is one of the few people who are well-manered , trustworthy , act mature and everything a nice person and a whole black market community should be!
I joined Sythe on the November 08 , even tho i have been speculating it for a year before that. As most people know , i joined for the same reason most did : The Runescape Black Market. Even tho being in the Black market community is against a Games rule , rules are ment for breaking. Even tho i follow that rule , i have my limits aswell. I would rather break as less as possible then as much , since there are a few rules of life i follow : Do good , you will get bad in return [ Balance of life ] or Do something bad and you get it back Twice as harder. A person cannot rely on a Market when they joined a forum , they must express themselfs and open themselfs outside the market area , since you can make more friends / respect in these places without them knowing about it.
A person must ALWAYS grab chances to achieve something , either be it in forums or real life. This includes making friends , earning respect or just being a good guy. These are my personal thoughts and things about Sythe.org community i take part in. Even tho i may not post alot outside the market area , but i say something if i have a reason to. There is no need to post Spam , its the same as going into a conversation you don't know what they are talking about and starting to talk Gibberish infront of them , making a fool out of yourself. My words to the community : Stay polite and nice , stay trustworthy and you will gain more respect than you think , don't be a fool and take all the chances you can [ Exluding being a Jerk to yourself and others ].

Well I think everyone's hope was crushed when you entered, so there won't be many new entries unless there's an announcement of some sort. I'm still mad Nick said he would announce the winners two days ago and without any earlier warning he randomly extends it. Nick, you could have at least posted later that night since you were on several times.

 

Why would there hopes be crushed? If people are entering only for the money, I feel that they are missing out and ultimately seeing the narrow picture. I entered only for the sake of community participation, and I would gladly share out my winnings if I win with other entrants.

I entered for teh lulz. It was fun writing the story.
To be honest half the people wouldn't bother writing anything for "fun".
Writing isn't considered fun by many people, and I'm sure most of the people entered for the prize.
Fun fun fun.

 

What? Writing is probably one of my greatest hobbies . It's such a magnificent feeling when you're in a quiet area and you put your imaginations on paper. Those who have yet to enter, I encourage you to do so. There's numerous reasons to do so.

1) You get people to know you.

2) You get to be considered as one of those people who participate in community events.

3) You might win some cash

The list goes on.

 

A lot more people might enter if there was an announcement.

 

Or maybe if there was a signature promoting it? Either way, it needs more advertising and promotion.

 

I'll probably enter any time soon. I'm going back to Belgium in 2 days.
