Here's my real story:

Around August 08, Sythe created a new thread about a Sythe MMORPG. At first, I thought 'Hmm, Sythe is creating a private server for RS.' When I clicked the thread, though, I realized he was talking about an entirely new game. I read through the posts and discovered this new game was starting to lift off the ground. Since there wasn't a highly detailed post there, I initially doubted such a huge project could really happen. I mean, with no real info on it, how was it ever going to start?

The next day, I realized something. If everyone thought like I did, this project was going to go nowhere. I figured if everyone did nothing, there would be nothing. After that, I looked through the new forums for the Steps to the MMO development. One caught my eye: Darkgroove's classes. It was thought-out and well-structured. I didn't do anything yet.

After that, a member named 'larrytheking' created a storyline to coincide with Darkgroove's classes. I really liked it but I felt it could be better.

Now, I love to write. I especially like to write fiction/sci fi/fantasy stories. When I read larrytheking's story, it really hooked me in. I decided to write my own story after deciding I should at least contribute what I could to this MMO.

In about an hour (with piss breaks), I came up with my own edit of larrytheking's story (viewable here). I started to really pour my ideas into it, and that is what came out. Plus, I'd love to have my name on a freaking game, which can possibly be used as a writing credit.

I got bits of praise for it, but after that, nothing really happened. More ideas were shoved into step 2 (even other stories :|) and that's where it ended. There isn't much going on and once again I have my doubts of whether this game will ever stand on it's own two feet.

Sorry for the unhappy ending, that's what happened :S. Also, I was planning on writing about meeting Unknown and Nuky (we all own PS3's and play together), but I felt this was better.

My story (not real):

The date was July 14th, 2009. Sythe.org was very lively and upbeat. People were having a wonderful day, every1 was "behaving" and it just set a good mood for the entire community. People were discussing recent happening, creating new signatures/avatar to show off to the rest of the sythers, Accounts were being bought and sold, admins were enjoying free cookies, and the spam forums were being infested with new origins of the mudkipz.

I was happily searching the WoW general forums when I noticed something very odd. There was a little cute, fuzzy bunny gnawing on "log out: button/ He had broken the the button. Everyone was stuck on the website! I said, hey, I can just "x" out mozilla. As I was about to click out, a koala bear jumped out of the screen and kicked me in the face, i was knocked out.

When i woke up, I looked around and i was in a small white room with a door in front of me. I went through the door and it shut behind me. I was inside the sythe website! I was not the only one, everyone was there. Including the bunny that broke the log out button. So everyone started chasing after the bunny but it was to fast. So we devised a plan in order to catch the bunny. We set a row of carrots lining up to a cage. As the bunny slowly picked up all the carrots, it got closer and closer to the cage. The bunny was captured.

Now it was time to force the bunny to fix the log out button. The bunny started talking to us and said he would not fix the button unless he got a chew toy. I raced to the IRL markets to see if anyone was selling a chew toy. I noticed that Grave had one for sale. I said to him, "how much for the chew toy?" He pointed to the price tag which said $100. Apperently it was made from a rare crocodile leather. I did not have enough. He said, "no money, no deal." So i thought for a second, looking around and said, "hey look, a flying rhino!" He looked around, i grabbed the chew toy and ran as i heard screaming coming from behind me.

I brought the chew toy back to the bunny and he was glad that i got one so he said he would fix the log out button. SO he fixxed the button and returned to R33l2r3al's signature, pssh, i always knew those bunnies were evil. Then everyone was able to return home.

-Later that evening-
Im laying in bed when i here a knock on my door. I answer it and nobody is there. Then i see some guy jumped down and punched me in the face and yelled at me "thats what you get from stealing from me, boy!" Then he flew away

Real Story!

One day I was pondering through the forum, and I saw a thread called, [PRIZES]Sythe.org Contests[PRIZES]. I said, Prizes??? Why not check it out! Then I noticed the prize choices were Runescape and World Of Warcraft, so I said this was fruity and wrote a post on the thread. The end.

 

Someone I met..emomod
During my first year of sythe, I had been curious about all the moderators and ex moderators, so I started to check everyone out. When I first came across Sin, I thought she was just some gothic freak..which you can’t blame me because of her sig. After I saw her “love” with ryan in her sig, I thought she was pretty useless so I just moved on (girls also have cooties).

Fast forward to her becoming a mod : When she became a mod, she infracted me..i was like wtf emomod. So I disputed it and she answered right away, which I was happy about. I believe then I added her after that, (her public) and started to ask questions about the infraction. We talked for a bit, and it was explained so I dropped the case. Every time she got on her public msn, I would hound her with questions till she either logged off or ignored me..which to this day I still don’t know.

After several months of me harassing her, I finally got her private(probably not, but she is on it more often!) and we talk pretty much every time she is on. It has been great fun, and hope it lasts! She is a great admin, and will remain one for a great time.

True story.

It was a cold winter evening in the year 2009.
There was a massive juxtaposition in the air, as a sense of happiness be willed Rabs, as he had just received the name change he had ever-so been longing.

The night continued with a few har-hars and a few GTFO’s in the spam forum.
Everything was looking good for Rabs, and he had just made himself some mi goreng noodles.

But then everything changed.
Rabs had completely forgot about the noodles, while being so in tuned in sythe; that the noodles themselves overcooked and tasted like asshair.

Rabs was in shock. He didn’t know what to do. So he did the most logical thing anyone in his position would have done.

- He masturbated.

After a good 3 hours, it was time for Rabs to have his second attempt at making noodles.

He started by crunching up the noodles.
Then it was time to add the soy sauce into the bowl.
Once soy sauce was added, it was time for the chili powder and the season all.
After all mixed together, the greatest noodles in the world were made.

But after eating too much Rabs’s stomach muthafucked itself. And Rabs needed the toilet.

Once finished on the toilet, Rabs went to his MM forum to see if anything needed to be done.
But in shock; he noticed the name of his thread was his old sythe user name.
Rabs didn’t know what to do, so he panicked and threw his laptop and the Asian midget (yung-ho) that was cleaning his room.
He quickly realized what he had done, and apologized to yung-ho. He then fed him his dinner, and then took him for a walk around the park.

Rabs came home with his buddy yung-ho. He decided to look on the computer and noticed a message from Nick on msn.
“Check you’re MM forum, I changed the name for you.”

And there it was; my forum with my new name. The night was saved thanks to NickV, and Rabs slept happily ever after. (Till he awoke from a wet dream.)

How'd you figure.

Oh, I can smell a contest with prizes from ocean's apart (Quite Literally). I'll see what I can toss up, so far I'm either writing about Tengauge, Ben or Darkgroove. We shall see.

 

Part:1 "Suspicious"
It was dark night.. around 02:00 AM, when i was just chilling in forums, reading whole thing. Without warning someone hitted me up on MSN, i couldn't remember why i have him on MSN, but it was weird. First thing he wrote me was,"Seize the moment, i have an offer for you". As i suspected it was about membership Pins, so i gladly answered,"What is your offer"? After a few minutes i got answered,"A 137 cmb for 25$", ofcourse i started to laugh and said,"You must go first then". He actually went first and we had a trade. I felt weird that i got so great account for such a low price, so i want to sleep.
Part:2 "Sick and Tired"
"Yaaawn", as i got up, wanted to check if i still have account and don't need to claim my money back from paypal. Logged in account, everything was ok, wanted to say thanks, to seller, but he wasn't on my MSN, so i started to felt weird.
I thought everyone should have a laugh at guy, selling so great account for such a low price, so went on sythe forums. Wrote a whole story about, posted some pictures, tried to submit my reply, but my browser shutted down by itself. Okay, i were too lazy to retype everything, so i thought later.
I rather go earn some money on account, as soon as i logged in account it was 135 cmb, i thought it was 137, but nevermind it's good too.
Got some cash, had some fun, pked a bit,"wait, what? it's 123 cmb now, what is going on?", it was so weird, account's combat decreased around every 15 minutes, i was scared a bit, and i went outside.
When i got home i logged in my account, it was already 94 cmb. I went on paypal to claim my money back, checked previous transactions and there wasn't my last night's transaction. That's was when i actually to stress, because i clearly remember sending money, receiving account, everything!
Part:3 "The Finishing Line"
After few days account's combat level was decreased to 3 cmb without anything it. I left account alone and never logged in it again.

It was Summer 2009 , Everyone was full of joy on the forums.
Everyone was trading and helping each other out until ... A 40 year old virgin decided to make some cash.
Well , it all started by him selling Runescape Pins , And i was the first victim.
He seemed like a nice person , We were getting along really well until he told me to send 4$ to his paypal for a runescape pin.
I Was nervous at first , but then i decided to send it to him... Then he gives me a used up pin and he said he started masturbating because i sent him 4$.
Then , ofcourse , i started to take pictures of the whole conversation and report it to the "Report a scammer" thread , Sin666 , the active "Report a scammer" thread mod "Sin666" was happy to deal with it.
I got the scammer banned , I Am a hero.
Everyone was thanking me and clapping , I Felt full of excitement.

So, around Feb./March 2007, when I got into runescape and the trading scene. I met Evil/Clown/Cow (Evilclown32,Cowsatday,K--I-n--K--y or summat.) His user name is "Banditofass" on sythe. He had a pure With like 90 range 70 hp and like 10m on it. There was no trade limit, so I was like "OMG, MONEY" to my best friend. Snatched that shit up. He never suspected me even though I was the only one with the password, but I HAD to brag to all my e-friends saying how I had "hacked this stupid kid."

Apparently, we had the same friends. Everyone found out that I was a pixel-hugging piece of shit, and kept pestering me about giving Evil his money back. Even though they knew I had the loot and tried to get me to give it back to Evil, I was an epic pixel hugger and kept my phr33 10m.

I got a message on the site from Evil ("Banditofass"), asking me if I was Swraider6062, and I told him yeah, bro, and we're cool again. Funny what pixels will make you do.

Epic story, right?

back when I joined, over a year ago now, I was a typical leecher.
I posted referal link's, spammed in the wrong placesthus generally acted up and casued trouble.
after being rightfully infracted for these event's I decided to straighten myself out and try and become part of the community.
from what i could see the spam forum was the place to be,everyone who was anyone was there.
some are still around, most of them still remain on the 'old' respectable list.

so, i'm trying to get into this group of, in my eye's, the coolest people on sythe.
you have to remember this was when the spam forum was in it's prime,
new comers were more often than not told to leave, not in the politest of terms.
however, I kept at it and eventually was able to make a new post with out being told to 'gtfo'.
soon after,enjoying the spam, i noticed this thread.

it was the 'list of respectable spam forum members'
thinking it was a bit of a joke i opened it and was truly jelouse of what i saw,
the names of, no outher way to put it, the 'legends' of the spam forum were there.
from that moment on i decided this was my goal, to be part of this list.
so i made an application, which was denied rather to quickly for my likeing.

sour with defeat i went back to making thread, commenting on thread's, flaming, spamming and what not.
i came back a few week's later with determination, and made a new application
i got accepted, this made my day.
i got recongnised more and was able to spam/flame certain members with out fear of reprecussions.
from being on this list I met some of the best people on sythe, lil_melo, Rs Nechryeal, Squidge, and loads of outhers
the last two i would describe as my closest friends on sythe to this day.

then it all went wrong, i managed to get into a arguent with sw33t p00per over nothing really,
this argument tore through the spam forum, resulting in me asking to leave the respectable list days before i was voted off
but this wasnt the end of it arguments kept going and building.

the flaming got worse and worse, untill sw33t was banned, taking with him a few outhers most notably duppori
in my opinion the spam forum changed that day, i only stuck around for a few more days before i left for 4 months.
haveing recently returned i found the spam forum different, people i didn't know were there posting tosh freely.
the older people, still had hatred for me inside them,
however two people didn't

squidge and rs nechryeal

both of them still talked to me and were kind, it's thanks to them that i'm still here. Of course
of late i've met many old friends and met many more new ones.

true the spam forum has changed, fr the worse but it's still here and thats the important thing
even more so i feel as if people have dropped there hatred for me and it feels good

I think this should be monthly and not weekly, as the prize money awarded is quite handsome, and there isn't a whole lot of entries. If you won't change it, could you award prizes on a monday, so the deadline could be Sunday, 12pm sythe time.

Sythe.org: Attack of the Leechers (First Draft, may be edited)

Four years had flown by with exceptional peace and order. People traded legitimately and scammers would eventually feel the wrath of the ban hammer. The only visible problem was Paul. Ever since his death by the ban hammer, he was motivated by his belief to resurrect all of whom were ever banned. In about a month he became an affiliate of the devil and soon fulfilled his dream. In May 2005 he created the portal of registration. This allowed previously banned scammers to come back, with a completely new identity. The world as we knew it changed.

The Sythe staff members were soon aware of this problem, but all they did is ban the undead scammers over and over again. Most of the time they could tell the previous identity of leechers, but sometimes they were undetectable. The battle continued as the army of leechers grew. As soon as the ban hammer struck, more leechers spawned from the portal of registration. While the Sythe staff battled out these unholy beings, Paul and the devil were making a new creation; they called it ‘Sigex’.

Sigex entered Sythe in 2007, just as any other legitimate trader did. He soon fell in love with Verts and they had a child: unb4nn3d. Paul and the devil saw Sigex was doing good and not evil so they placed a powerful spell on him. He then became dyslexic so when he sold his Runescape SMS Pins, he typed them out wrong. His best friend, Obi Wan Full Tilt, reported him to the Sythe staff and Sigex felt the wrath of the ban hammer. This crushed him, and he too, like Paul, had plans of evil.

Paul found out what had happened, so he gave Sigex unlimited access to the portal of registration. Sigex came back as many different identities and took his anger out on many innocent people. This was getting out of control, but the Sythe staff could not do anything about it other than repeatedly using the hammer. Meanwhile, Obi Wan Full Tilt trained unb4nn3d to become a powerful Jedi, but never told him of his father’s identity and neither did Sigex.

Another two years gone, until Sigex had a brilliant plan. He closed the portal of registration. Paul and the devil became furious from his actions and attempted to kill Sigex, but failed. He was too powerful and killed them both and went on with his plans. Now he had control of hell and all the banned souls of Sythe.org. He kept the portal closed until hell became full of them. He trained them day and night to become the best scammers ever, and then opened the portal.

It is now July 18, 2009 and the attack of the leechers has begun. “They’re coming! Seal the portal!” yelled unb4nn3d. Sin replied “We can’t! They’re going to crash the server.” Leechers were registering faster than ever, and Richard wasn’t on to stop it. The battle lasted hours, but the ban hammer wasn’t fast enough. Sythe staff members were being hacked too, which made things far worse. The leechers would soon take over Sythe if they poured in at this rate. Luckily, unb4nn3d was trained by the great Obi Wan Full Tilt, and he wasn’t going to let that happen.

The battle continued for days with hundreds of lives lost. Sometimes the ban hammer accidentally killed legitimate traders instead of the blood-sucking leechers. The Sythe population was soon cut in half, fighting each other to survive. Sigex’s army continued to grow until Richard destroyed the registration portal. Sigex, knowing he would soon be identified and killed, looked for unb4nn3d, the source of Sythe’s power.

“It is thou, Sigex. I can tell.” whispered unb4nn3d as he walked toward him. They both pulled out their light sabers and began to battle. The fight lasted over an hour until Sigex cut off unb4nn3d’s arm. Sigex couldn’t do it; he couldn’t kill his beloved son! “Unb4nn3d, I am your father.” Unfortunately unb4nn3d didn’t hear him and ran away. A moment later, Sigex was struck by the ban hammer, but his army continued.
