Pirate had the most retarded take on a the gambling websites responsibility to provide data that I have ever seen. Hope he doesn’t mediate a case if I’m ever involved in one.

Point 1 - your ruling essentially gives gambling entities the ability to cut off payments by just banning the users who recommended affiliates. @Yirru was generated approximately 700 tokens in 2 weeks which averages to $25 a day. Your ruling let runestake essentially wipe a perpetual debt of ~$9000 a year (if people continued gambling at the same rate) at no cost. Runestake even said they allow banned users to continue to accumulate tokens but in this case they are stopping it because they don’t want to pay the money they owe. There should be some sort of payout to account for this loss of income.

Point 2 - you say it’s unrealistic for an entity to maintain records over a long duration. That is fine, but Yirru had been asking for a list and received nothing. They gaslighted him until he made a report then banned him and went radio silence. Given the undisputed fact that affiliate earnings were shut off in the past, this seems reasonable response by Yirru.

Point 3 - yuirro was never shown evidence so was unable to counter it. Really seems one sided that all the evidence was provided directly to the staff and a judgement was reached. It was also nearly a week before they were even asked to respond or provide evidence. That’s ample time for an unsavory party to “cook” the books.

I could go on but those are many of my criticisms of how it was handled.

 

I don't follow your logic. How does Pirate's ruling cause all of those consequences? All Pirate did was follow the ToS handed to him.

 

Would love to see the ToS handed to him, like on the thread, related to the scam report.

 

I'm sure if any other affiliates come up with a more legitimate report, the answer would be different. Yirru wildly overestimated the damages and only demanded information while not providing any of their own recordkeeping or contract terms.

Furthermore the amounts asked were just ridiculous, it was claimed that he was owed 50K$, which even considering the numbers posted above would be around 5 full years of commissions. To say nothing of the fact that casino referrals usually peter out over time and need a constant influx of new blood.

I felt it was more of a ruling specific to the report rather than something that sets a precedent.

Just don't be a retard when reporting, respect the authorities and you'll have a better chance at a reasonable outcome.

Like, if he had argued that their records show him getting 25$ a day up until December when they dropped to 0, and that's when RuneHall did some data migration. Yirru could have asked for a years worth of estimated earnings. But he chose to miscalculate his earnings based on amounts wagered instead of deposits, and ended up on an unreasonable number, so nothing was awarded, the default ruling.

 

Regarding my feedback.

I think Mod was well predisposed, and neutral throughout the issue. Not super well versed in the subject matter, but I don't think mods can be expected to be experts in such a niche industry.

Would focus more on the terms of the contract next time (whether terms discussed over chat, or server ToS, whatever) . If no such contract exists, if terms were not defined beforehand , then not much can be expected in terms of a ruling. But basic terms like comission structure, length of contract and cancellation policy would probably have been discussed before starting the commercial relationship.

 

On the topic of ToS, here is a case where the accuser agreed to ToS. But it’s obvious that the defendant was botting and in botting discords: Mod assistance with serviced account banned

Just because someone agrees to ToS let’s see if he gets off free and clear!

Edit: I still don’t see Yirru agreeing to ToS but not going to waste time searching since my opinion is just an opinion.

 

The ruling was unfair, but I expected nothing less, It was basically like Runestake's lawyers were the moderators. He even started saying he has kids and a wife like it has anything to do with the report. @Pirate was biased the entire time, did everything behind the scenes and runestake didn't even provide him the full list of affiliates. He protected them through and through. I called it from the beginning. There was clear evidence of lying/false data/disabling of affiliate earnings and they got away scot-free.

My report was based on the fact that Runestake disabled affiliate earnings on a lot of my affiliates and then they just claim that they've deleted the list of affiliates.

 

They didn't provide anything because they didn't have to. As mentioned simply overlooking something in an example being your request is something that happened commonly

You was provided the standard 90 days, provided nothing actually concrete to be used against them and then lost the dispute like we kept trying to tell you.
