    With the trusted MM idea:
    1. It would create alot of tantrum about what people consider "trusted".

    2. It would seperate the people that are ACTUALLY TRUSTED from those who have MMed 2 trades and ahve been here for 1 week, and are calling themselves trusted. And unfortunately, you have those buyers/sellers that fall for that old trusted bit.

I agree with the more official middlemans. When I buy membership pins I always use a middleman so I don't get scammed.:)

    How about this suggestion:

Make it a prerequisite to have done 10 pin trades to beocme an official mm. Whiel this maybe unpopular, there are dozens off people aiming for official mm, currently u are only allowed to have done a maximum of 3 trades, but if pins were considered seperate to the rest of the vouches, it would encourage trusted members to mm more. With more people offering to mm, there is a lower chance of being scammed.

The thing is most new members (including me when i joined sythe) did not know the standard price. I have seen posts varying from mils 5$ ea to 3.5$, and pins as low as 700k to as high as 1.7m- having personally bought at 1m and 1.1m . My point is this, standardized prices should be posted- while this would arguably interfere with the "free" prices of demand and supply, by saying that all pins are 2m .period. the price control will effectively prevent people form going to cheaper albeit scammers. This would go hand in hand with the other solution of giving a new title to real pin sellers (There can be applications for it just like there is for official middle men), while normal mods can be used to evaluate then simply pm a list of all those accepted and admins could name them whenever they have time. The verified sellers will get all the buyers (since price is constant).

There is one flaw however. It assumes sythe is the only market- pple cud simply go to other sites to buy pins at cheaper prices.

Well thats about all i cna think of atm :p

Maybe you should learn a little bit more about the middleman application process before you post such remarks.
    Minimum 25 trades
maximum 10 pin trades (because they are too easy to get)

    But thanks for the input

Pin scammers should all die. I hate loosing to them if I go first. More middlemans will work and administrators or global moderators verifying the pins would be awesome.

good idea except we dont need pins to go through the roof.. if people were smart anyways they would find the person that has the most credible thread ie: vouchs, most pins sold and just pay the extra 500k to get a pin from a trusted individual. There also would be no need for these "official pin sellers" if people had common since to see through some scams..

I'd like to see this happening, but I wouldn't want pin prices to go up...
Also, wouldn't scammers just steal pins then? I mean, they will scam the pin sellers! :(

Edit: Lol the two banned people who posted before me on this page were agreeing with you yet they were scammers on other accounts, and banned before those accounts. Hypocrite losers. -.-

FG4, it is a LARGE amount harder to scam the pin seller than it is to scam the buyer. A seller is usually experienced, knows what they are doing and don't get scammed. The Buyer doesn't take the steps to being safe, so they get scammed.

Furthermore, if you haven't noticed, the majority of scammers scam RUNESCAPE CASH. This means taht they.
    A) Scam by Selling pins
    B) Scam by Buying mills

I.e. They get runescape cash, not any other stuff
