Phats are Crashing lol

There's only one reason phats went this way, it wasn't people growing old of them.


When the GE came out, and wildy + staking was removed, all those rich guys with phat sets dumped their phats. This caused a drop in price so everyone panicked, seeing how phats were mostly made as investments.

From there, it only spiraled out of control. They became harder to sell and more people wants to sell, and it became a vicious circle.


While a lot of you say they're 'crashing' they're merely correcting. Jagex is forcing price drops within them to finally come to a reasonable price, which is about to happen to purples. You would be very lucky to come across someone selling purple + 3a... Hell even a few masks were hard to find when they had street value.

Purples are at the verge of dropping, soon more and more people like me will start buying them again cos phats are wicked. I've already spoke to a few well known merchants who believe purples are just beginning to turn, but still have a little distance to go.
