Phats are Crashing lol

As I saw a few pages ago, the prices need to drop because since the death of conventional merchanting, very few can earn enough money to buy them anymore.

I believe the current price drop IS caused by Jagex. They ahve stated in the fine-print that they will change the prices if they deem "necessary", and this is one example.

 

Due to lending update phats became useless.

 

i sold my white for 270m, bhed back 100m

 

no1 is buyin cause skillers cant make enuf money because raw materials are so unstable, like im a runite miner and they have gone up and down so much in the past month that im wastin time minin em..

 

This is a stupid ass question, because no one can really give a for sure answer..

..But what do you guys think Purple will finally level out at?

I think it might help possible. Also when you have that kind of money I don't think 1 or 2 million gp will hurt you to much.

Omg, that's amazing. It's times like this I wish I was rich. I would absolutely jump for FUCKING joy if I had a purple or yellow P Hat. Mostly because I'm an attention whore, but also because they look sexy. I hope they REALLY drop. Or at least Santas go way down. I'm sure if I stick with RS for about another 4 months, Santas will be 700k-2M. ;D

They were used for staking, show-offing etc. Now you can't stake em and they are lendable.

It's kinda awkward. Without the stupid GE P'hats would be priceless. I still think Grand Exchange is gay.

 

This drop is caused by jagex like merchant in the dark said. They are fixing the prices of party hats because no one buys them anymore, and thats exactly what some players had been waiting for. No moron would buy a purple for 7 days in a row just to lower the price of it.

As for the people who say merching is dead, you just say that because you dont know how to. An invester with 100m, on average, makes about 2-5m a day by flipping, merchanting or investing. G.e infact has made merching a lot easier now.

But i think PHats is going down beacuse off ; they used to me the only way to show off your really high wealt. But nowadays there are godsword, spirit shields and alot of other items that's worth approxematly as phats. And considering phats are just junk items that doesn't help you at all. Peoples nowadays would most likely buy a godsword or a spirit shield that can help and in the same way show of your wealth.
