here's my problem:
i am moving at the end of july to nevada [specifically, las vegas]
i am dating a girl right now and we love each other both very much. i myself love her more than anything.
i am not one to look to the future, so until the week of my move, i will be fine, but that week i am likely to have a complete breakdown. of course, only idiots would do anything like a long-distance relationship, and we both know that we're gonna have to cut it off

i'm trying to spend as much time with her as i can until then... but i am still probably gonna be all sad and stuff for like the first week i'm in nevada [a week is not a lot, but i get over things fast]
i'm not really asking what i should do,... but this IS a support topic
i would like to be supported
Your right, this is a support topic...
I had this problem when i moved from sydney to mackay.
Depending if you now people in Nevada or not, youll find it extremely difficult and will be wanting to move back pretty fast.
The trick is gathering a friendship group together.
Make sure it is people who share the same interests...
Skater - go to a bowl,
gamer - go to an internet gaming lounge,
you get the idea.
Give it 6 months and youll love it where you are.
As for the girl, i had a similar problem.
I found a bomb-ass girl 4 days before i moved. This is a bit different and i dont fall in love easy, but im sure i can help.
Keep in contact with her still, its not a long distance relationship.
MSN and SMS are the best because they are cheap. But if you two get free-calls to each other then phone her twice a week for a little bit.
Keep it random, because you dont want to be calling her for the rest of your life, after 3 weeks make it one a week, after 4 weeks stop calling her, make sure you call her randomly though.
From here on treat her as a friend and try not to think back.
Hope that helps. Its what i did with all my friends and my old crew and it worked.
As for msn, if you dont feel like talking to her, block her, then unblock her 30 seconds later and say "sorry, i got disconnected." or "Sorry, i kicked the cable out". Most of the time the conversation dies and she will probably stop talking to you unless she can think of a way to bring it to life.
Hope that helps.
