Perm. Limited from paypal

When I first joined sythe I used a fake Canadian or Australian paypal to get around the verification thing. Now it's biting me in the ass, I can't create a legitimate and real Paypal. How do I go about fixing this? Anybody know?

 

You can't, Paypal sees you as fraudulent. Contact them on the phone to attempt to get it resolved, other than that nothing you can really do.

 

PayPal won't do anything to help you. It's an absolutely trash company, you'll just have to make a new one

Have them cash you out in 180 days. You broke their ToS from the sounds of it and they at least owe you the money. You need to request a check. Call Paypal and instantly ask to speak to an account manager (higher up) and explain things to them. Maybe they will fix it out for you or work it out. Lower staff won't be of much help.

If this isn't an issue just make a paypal on a private ip and only connect using that ip. They limited my account several times when I was on vacation this week because I was trying to make payments from a hotel IP.

In addition to PlayerAuctions protecting sellers against fraudulent payments, the way our aggregation system is set up, is that it also protects seller's against PayPal account freezes, commercial underwriting, etc. Effectively, WE assume all the risk, so you don't have to.

In order to help you, you'll need to tell us exactly why PayPal has limited or frozen your original account. Depending on the reason, there are different steps you could take.

Full disclosure however, if you have been creating multiple accounts, and PayPal has been catching you, you are only ever then digging yourself into a deeper whole. Our system works very similar to PayPal's (in some ways, I would say better), in that whenever you create a new account, with slightly new information, PayPal aggregates this data creating a "larger user profile". You are essentially giving them more data to catch, and stop you.

I will say, that if PayPal has limited and suspended your account due to fraud. Then don't even bother. PlayerAuctions reports fraudulent activity to 3rd party risk management global networks. So does PayPal. If you are locked out of PayPal, and they have reported you, then your overall "score" will be lowered to the point you will be flagged as risky from now on.

In which case, your best bet for transacting on the internet would be either through direct credit card payments, bitcoin, western union, or bank transfers.

This should be a fair warning to everyone:
Do not use fake information when engaging in transactions that involve money. Banks and financial institutions have zero tolerance for this (neither do we). Yes, a fair amount of it has to do with safeguarding themsleves against risk, but it boils down to liability with governments, who REQUIRE money service businesses (MSB's) to follow KYC (know your customer), CDD/CIP (customer due diligence), and AML (anti-money laundering) compliance laws.

An honest buyer/seller would have no reason to hide their identity. Bottomline: DON'T DO IT.

 

Totally agree up until that point, this statement is obviously false. Should I post my real name here that's associated with my Runescape account while actively breaking their ToS?

There are also some really bad eggs here, the last thing I need is a swat team smashing down my door at 2am and pointing a gun to my head because I angered some 15 year old on the internet.

I can think of a hundred reasons why you'd want to conceal your identity even when conducting a legitimate transaction.

Anyways back to the topic, as mentioned above your best bet would be to call paypal and be honest with them, I mean at the end of the day it won't hurt. They've gotten many issues where people make accounts with false information, I myself have done it. What they'll do is most likely suspend/close your account and give your money back. Just ask them if you can create a new account with your legit info and you'll provide all info needed. Most likely they'll ask for a photo Id, etc. as I said it doesn't hurt to try. Goodluck

 

Try Calling Paypals support and explaining the situation

 

They put their phone system in circles, so they'll keep ringing, and nobody can get through because yeah like dave said its a trash company. they won't do anything, nor know how to do anything.

 

I've had 8 accounts that have been limited.

When making a new account, use a new IP, a different name to previous accounts, and also a different address (fake one).

Use a virtual credit card, or a prepaid card for the card they require, and add a a real bank if they require one.

I've done that and there's been no issues, been able to receive payments fine now.
