Passport Number

Hi,
I got stuck in some paypal identify verification crap. They have my proof address, proof of SSN, now they just need my Photo ID.

Do you know what information they could get with my Passport number itself? (Not the actual ID)

Specifically, my birthday?

Your not obligated to give you're passport, you can show them your driver licence or something else with your name and address on it.

 

I am not 18..that is the issue.

They are looking for just the passport number to look it up to make sure its real.

Do you think the number would just bring up my name/address or also my age?

 

Are they asking for your passport or just some form of identity?

 

A photo ID.

Since I am under 18, all I have is my passport.

 

For photo I.D. you could just ask a friend that is 18+ for a picture that has a sign "*Paypal name*". I think I heard several people here on sythe did that and it worked.

 

hmm student card? It should have your birth date, pic and name..

Your passport will bring up all the information you used when you applied for said passport.

He means get a friend that's over 18 to write your paypal e-mail on a piece of paper, hold it up to his face, and take a picture of it. That way they see your over 18..

I don't know how well that would work though.. considering they may request more information.

 

This happend to me, did you balance go over a certain amount?

I just entered my Passport number M************ and it instantly unlocked.
