Islam in particular is an ideology that is especially violent since its very origin - Mohammad. Mohammad massacred people and raped 9 year old girls. So, when people have no moral barrier to doing these sorts of things, we have atrocities like the Muslim rape of 1400 girls in Britain, and the constant mass murders of innocents.

I'd like to see your source. Where does it say in the Quran to massacre innocent people? Yes it says non believers will be punished, and they will be punished by God (in after-life) but it doesn't say anywhere to go and kill all non believers.

Wants to shut down Mosques because apparently he thinks hate is born or preached.

Why i think its bad? He has no proof he hasn't been in it or seen what people do?

I have a muslim friend and he tells me that when he prays 5 times a day he makes sure he prays for the safety of everyone in THIS WORLD. Why should he pray for people that hate him and his religion? Act of Kindness and i respect him for that.

I just want to clarify I'm not a supporter of such i already said that i just don't like to see people accusing the innocent. I believe that people who are dying each day because of such extremist groups like ISIS need a place to run to and have a better future. We should gladly open our arms and remember how it must feel to live like that 24.7. I thank god each day for giving a wonderful life and everyday i can wake up to clear sky and have food and go to school and come back home safely.

I agree with you, people on both sides of the argument will cherry-pick specific verses to fit their arguments - religious texts should not be treated as random collections of aphorisms. But the biggest offences are when verses are taken out of context and misconstrued beyond their original intended meaning. For something like Christianity in particular, people often throw out verses about Mosaic law without really understanding how they actually apply.

With regards to your points on Islam, I don't know too much about Islamic holy texts or Islamic view on sin, but I believe that it is taught that Mohammed was not without sin (please correct me if I am wrong).

There was also a clip of Reza Aslan speaking about Islam that's been recirculating the web in light of the recent attacks. I don't have a link but it was an interesting watch. We cannot define a teaching by its students. But to what extent can we hold a teaching responsible for the actions of its students? Hard to say - there are so many other factors that come into play.

One verse about accepting thy neighbor doesn't make up for the slander of homosexuality. Christianity does do a great job with racism for the most part though. I'm not saying it's all bad man just religion isn't the be end of everything and if you look at religion and it's effect on lives around this world from a truly distant perspective it's truly shocking.

Just as a general note, there are many parts of Leviticus law (and a lot of the teachings in Mosaic law in general) that are thought to have been superseded by the new covenant that was formed with the death of Jesus Christ. Some of the teachings still have relevance as moral instruction, but most of them simply don't apply. About homosexuality, I don't really think we can consider it so much slander as it is just a simple statement that homosexual acts/relationships are impermissible in the eyes of God. Homosexuality is considered a sin, but then again so is something like an act of lying. In the eyes of a perfect Christian God, all sins are of the same magnitude.

The situation in Hanover was due to a tip from another intelligence agency if I understand correctly - one may play it off as paranoia but I believe it's the correct step to do seeing as there was a tip for the Paris attacks as well that was unheeded.

Funding and oil money are resources that allow for these attacks, but it is not the motivation.

If they stopped getting funded immediately it doesn't solve the problem because their motivation to kill hasn't changed.

If you take away their resources , what are they gonna do?

They can do nothing without money/weapons.
