[Pardon] Reduce the time for pardons!

@Seraphic Why should they reduce the pardon time? You yourself stated that if you can't pass a pardon when its taking even less time then its hopeless. Sooo, why change it? The point of being banned is so you learn from your mistake and grow from it. How can 90 days do that? Within your pardon time you broke the rules AGAIN by ban evading; had you not done this, your pardon could have gotten accepted sooner. You ban evading and continuing to break the rules isn't the fault of Sythe staff but rather yourself for being a complete moron. Also, why would Sythe want all these scammers back in the marketplace just after 3 months time? If you deliberately steal from someone shouldn't you be gone forever? Don't you think it is nice enough for Sythe to even let you back?

Not necessarily true. I do accept it is nice to be back on Sythe but equally lets say this. Say for example you scammed 250M 07 gold and then refunded it 1 month later. That wouldn't mean that you get your pardon accepted immediately. You might too have to wait another 6 month for the pardon to get accepted. You can however dispute a ban if its within a week of a scam taking place so why not make the pardon length shorter?

Because if someone scams 250m 07 they had the intention of scamming which means they broke not only a Sythe rule but a REAL LIFE law of THEFT. For example if you were to go into a gas station and rob the place for what they had in the register, get caught and say "I'll pay back the $$$ if you let me go" they aren't going to do that, they are going to laugh at you. Your going to either be doing community service or you'll be sitting your ass in a jail cell. And on top of that, it'll be on your record so employers can see it while hiring you. Maybe we should do that on Sythe; put a tag on the user so others know they were banned for scamming. Anyways, the time should not be shorter because they purposefully broke a rule/law and should be punished for it. 3 months is nothing, its already been nearly 2 since Christmas and I still feel like it just happened.

But that was the WHOLE POINT of Sythe verified user. IT WAS DESIGNED for people who INTENDED not to scam however people ended up scamming anyway. It was put in place to protect users from being scammed and now its removed.

Since SVU has been removed why can we not limit the time it takes for a pardon to take place. If they had the intention of scamming but then paid it back there is no reason for them to come back onto Sythe.

Not to mention you contradicted your point. You said that I was banned for evading and that I would have come back sooner. Equally I could have paid back the funds that were scammed and told back to come in 6 months so the original point you made was not exactly valid.

TF are u talking about? Half our staff have been pardoned at one stage or another, I think practically every gold site owner has to.

Sythe runs on pardoned users lol.

I know theres some downsides to the system but stating that "no good has ever come from pardoning anyone anyways" just isn't true.
Half of Sythe staff being pardoned scammers is not a redeeming feature of the pardon system, it's a black mark on Sythe's integrity...

If there wasn't a DNT system then I would say sure; however, if a pardon is denied it is because staff doesn't believe the individual is genuine, deserves a pardon, etc. Only so much can happen to a person's character in 3 months (hell, even 6), but they can request a DNT and continue to use Sythe for that period.

So yeah, no support.

For now I will let this post be closed by a staff member. This can be relooked upon in the near future. However @Tmoe I understand users can quest a DNT but what I don't understand is that a DNT is 100% chance you will be allowed back into the community. Looking back into this can we actually end up removing unconditional supports. This would overall allow more genuine people into the community not to mention unconditional supports are still happening despite it saying that they don't exist. If the pardon system isn't going to change currently then unconditional pardons are also another way out. I can suggest this separately if you think I should.
