Opinion about Dave

This ^ sums it up. There is nothing you can say anymore Moes to give us a compelling argument. IMO anything said from this point on is just irrelevant. I suggest work things out off-site like Roary said in the report Dave made on the incident.

 

It's difficult for me to explain exactly what happened because Dave didn't allow me to tell anything about my deal with the supplier. I'm willing to tell a little more how I got banned on ikov and how my business ended and how Dave's business started. However I gotta ask a staff member for permission first.

Sort this shit out in private it doesn't make a fuck what we think as it isn't up to us. This looks like a slanderous circle jerk to me.

 

I can't imagine the disclosure of information rule extends to the terms of a contract that you yourself are a party to, unless some form of non-disclosure agreement was discussed between you two. So long as you censor his "private emails / MSNs, private Skype accounts, Facebook accounts, addresses, phone numbers, private photos" and anything akin to that class of items, you should be fine.

 

This is what made him take over my business, The owner banned me because I didn't report enough sales for 1 week. I had a week off to gather some suppliers because he just temporary stopped supplying to recover the economy and offered account protection instead. He basically told me he didn't want to deal with me anymore because selling 600B/week wasn't enough (that's $1800 worth/week). I tried to convince him but he said he didn't want to anymore.

Because there was basically no way to get him to unban me again I told him I would tell other ikov staff members about his behaviour because he ruined the ikov economy and nobody on ikov knows he's spawning GP for gold sellers. (That's the "blackmail" part). By doing this I hoped that he would unban me. It was obviously a bad move.

After this I didn't hear anything from Dave anymore and a few days later I saw he opened an ikov shop. Just fyi Dave doesn't sell nearly as much as 600b/week.

 

Even with the info you provided it still doesn't justify your actions. Dave didn't do anything to wrong you. If the supplier is scummy and he wronged you then I suggest you take action offsite where the matter occurred. Unless the supplier uses Sythe.org there is nothing it's staff members can do. I would assume this is another reason why Roary told you to handle this offsite. As for Dave using the supplier it's a judgement call. In the end it bares down to what everyone thinks of him and his decision on the situation, and if they choose to act on it if anything. I personally don't feel Dave is in the wrong seeing as though you kinda screwed him here. I feel as though his actions are justified and have no harmful intentions. You trying to prevent someones success based off your anger with another and your mistake is not something I'm going to agree with. This may be a black market site but Dave did nothing wrong, why would/should he be punished? If your only answer is spite that's not good enough to count for anything. We all need a more legitimate reason than jealousy to even give this a second thought.

That is quintessential blackmail, and unless there was more important stuff, I don't think it's really that relevant. It seems that the falling through between you and your seller (the banning phase) was entirely between you two. You then exacerbated the situation by blackmailing him, again a decision solely between you two. Dave only had an influence on the situation after you had seemingly irrevocably destroyed the relationship. You certainly can't claim that Dave took over your business, because at the time of Dave's potential influence you had no more business to take over (unless there are different suppliers etc involved).

 

I am saying that he wouldn't steal moes' contact. That's what I meant. It was 2am and I was tired :3

 

At first I was against moes, until I realized that he hasn't been able to tell his side of the story because his hands are tied. Dave telling moes that he would delete those posts himself is very worrying. I don't care if it's right or wrong, Dave shouldn't be touching the case in a position of power.

That line from Dave alone makes me retract all my arguments and I'm not going to be siding with either until I see the whole story.

Apparently moes was banned before attempting to blackmail the owner. So there's more to the story than we know.

Oh, I figured that was already established. There's more to it than that from what I'm seeing.

 

What a stupid situation, asking for peoples opinions always = a bitch fit after ya get them. Although Malakadang is the only individual who has some clarity in this shit hole.

 

I think a lot of people just jumped on the Dave bandwagon without getting the full story.

From that snippet that Moes posted, Dave is pushing Moes into a corner and that doesn't look so good......

Without the full story I think this thread is pointless.

 

Would have to agree with jsand5048 here. I feel as if Dave is using his powers to gai more trust. I don't know who is right or wrong but that is just what I think.
