It was close to $500 - 2 transactions were charged back.

 

Paypal don't support the sales of virtual goods, it's as simple as that.

 

Congrats. Unfortunately in most cases, the paypal account is either stolen or reported stolen and then there is nothing you can do.

 

This can be prevented as well. I ask my buyers for authorization email from their paypal email address prior of the trade.

By the way, both of these cases have charged me back and appealed. Both of them I've won and now the cases are closed and cannot be re-appealed.

 

You should create a more in-depth guide and if it's that helpful, maybe the staff here will make it recognized more at Sythe?

I just lost a $70 one, but won 3 $250+ before. The reason is no matter what you do 99.5% of the time, but when they chargeback with their credit card company and not PayPal, they win the case. AND you get charged a $20 chargeback fee. LOL Paypal is a joke. When will people get with the new age and use bitcoin already?

 

Couldn't edit above post for some reason, but you can get a bit extra security if you ask for a picture of their Paypal balance as the only way to dispute his credit card company is to pay with a $0.00 Paypal balance so the charge goes to his card. Hope this helps!
