OHHHH YEAHHH Just Won a Charge Back

Just won $200 chargeback from paypal.

He chargedback me last week and paypal took almost a week to close the case. This is how I won:

- Escalate it to a claim right away
- Provided proof of all screenshots
- Told them I am a digital goods business
- Put notes almost every day of more evidence I've found on the internet about his past accounts
- Linked all of his banned accounts under notes as well
- Told them that he was making false accusations under notes without any viable proof

P.S. He sent it as goods and he indicated he was buying digital goods in the notes when he sent the payment


And I still won.

 

But really, good job on winning it.

This tends to be the case. I've found that by referring the team to the scam report located on Sythe really helps the case. Such that they have recognised the individual has been banned and punished for his actions and that he in fact was the one in the wrong. Congratulations on winning the dispute, reason as to why you need to hold onto the relevant evidence!

Yeah. Generally explaining exactly what happened with all proof tends to do quite well. They just take awhile.

PayPal do look at chargeback disputes and I won 3 similar case due to the runescape account recovery just by providing evidence of trade and recovery linked to Sythe.

Yeah. He actually chargeback close to $500 worth of digital goods and he lost both cases to me. Both were paid in paypal. One was re-appealed and he lost again.
