Changed mine slightly today.
Group 1:
ROX - Strong team
G2 - Way better than CLG before worlds, probably better than ANL
Group 2:
FW - They seem to be one of the most consistently strong teams so I'm going on a limb that they'll manage to 5/1 or 6/0 or something.
C9 - Solo lane meta & Impact makes them extremely strong. If Impact can continue to do well then I can see them getting far since they've had some time to fine tune where they were going wrong.
Could be any result. Going to say that IMAY will lack the patience to deal with Impact and then struggle to continue from there & that SKT will do average and be knocked out in a tiebreaker or something.
Group 3
AHQ - Westdoor's champ pool can't be exploited any and AN's Jinx is probably perma-ban worthy considering she'll be in a very good spot on the worlds patch. Expecting them to possibly make semis this year.
EDG - Typically a strong team but I'm going to guess they'll falter on macro plays against the top teams like many Chinese teams have tended to do.
I have no confidence in INTZ or H2K being able to stand up on an international level.
Group D
TSM - Very few mistakes in their play before they went to bootcamp, could be near perfect going into groups and the chances are they'll only improve more as time goes on.
SSG - Expecting them to reach quarters but not get past that.
RNG have a habit of falling apart even though they're extremely good individual players and Splyce should just play to improve because they have no hope of getting out of groups.
