It's not anyone's fault that SOME of the local businesses aren't doing as well. That's cash donations you're talking about, which when compared to actual item donations is small. And the items donations are being used how they should be.. How else can you use a bottle of water or a cheeseburger? When money is involved, people argue; simple as that.
The fact is that the government and everyone who doesn't agree with the protesters are trying to use the law against them when that shouldn't be allowed. If the people empower the police, explain why the people don't want others to be arrested but it's still happening? Because the government wants what's best for them. Most people actually support the OWS movement.

I also like how you only point out the "bad" groups supporting OWS. You never seem to mention any of the good ones such as labor unions, veterans, teachers and teacher unions, police and police unions, as well as many notable celebrities (not only Michael Moore -.-)
It's their right to assemble peacefully and no matter what they're doing (as you specified, defecating in the park, vandalizing, and selling drugs; which I feel you pointed out just to give everyone else a reason to have a problem with them [just as the government is doing], regardless of whether or not EVERYONE involved is doing those things[which they're not]) it is still non-violent and within their constitutional rights (which
are being violated.) If it's bad enough, arrest the individual; but don't generalize the motives of the whole group because of the actions of one person, that's ignorant.
Is it right to tear gas a group of people because one person shits in the street? Didn't think so.
Whatever you want to think is up to you, but don't get mad at people standing together collectively to achieve a common goal that, in the end, will benefit you too.
