I think we honestly need a legitimate trade system, similar to "iTrader".
It just requires the users to click on the profile
    Paste link to thread
    Add reputation for the trade

The system could be limited only to trades that have a dollar amount on them, versus even trades or super cheap services. (possibly a minimum amount of $10)

This kind of falls under the same category as vouching for someone that went second, or a middleman vouching for the people he or she middle-manned for. I think that those type of vouches, do actually mean something. It shows that the trader actually does have an intention to complete legitimate transactions on sythe, whereas you cannot tell the intentions of a newcomer with 0 vouches at all. Though it does not mean the person won't scam if he or she gets an opportunity to be trusted with a decent amount, I would still feel more comfortable conducting a trade with that person than a newcomer.

This is why the reason when trading you don't just go by the number of vouches a person has. Actually go onto their vouch thread and look what the vouches are for. You can decide from this, whether you deem someone trusted or not.

If you don't find them trusted, you can tell them your reasoning. They won't be able to deny facts and you can just force the use of a MM.

I personally stopped doing vouches for trades I've mm'd like a year and a half ago. People tend to abuse the vouches from mm's, especially staff/omm's

Yeah when I see vouches on peoples thread from kevin001, arcus, etc saying that he person sold them gold I just ignore it. I guess some newcomers might actually fall for "vouches" from trusted members.

In a similar fashion, we'd have to disallow other types of vouches that don't require trust e.g vouches received after going first. Instead of looking at the quantity of vouches, we always encourage traders to examine the quality.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion though!
