HUE'S= Power hungry?

 

Okay, heres my comments on the issue:

Firstly, I'd like to explain why a sectional moderator needs to be able to view the staff lounge, and why a HUE doesn't. As a sectional moderator of a non-runescape related section, there really isn't too much in the staff lounge that needs my attention, althought since sectional mods do not have the power to ban users, it is sometimes nessessary for me to request a global mod to ban a user for breaking a rule more serious than warranting an infraction. As a HUE, I don't see how you need to request bans since your main role is to approve or deny guides, and if someone is spamming the applications section, a global mod will take care of it.

Secondly, we tried giving more power to HUE's and Six blew it for you. We looked at it and realized that you don't need the power to do you job, so we removed it. It's that simple.

I cannot honestly put in my view on this, as I haven't really seen or not seen what you have been talking about, partly, because I don't go there often.

The IQ of the community of Sythe.org is very low. There are so many people on here under the age of 9, you wouldn't believe it. Although, age doesn't really matter, maturity does.

This is a cheating forum, and sadly to say, you probably shouldn't expect much more. The people who actually half cared are leaving, and the people with no brains, and only want to scam or use the market are coming.

There's ways to stop this, and there's ways to keep it going, and I think you know what ways we are following.

And as to Shawn_, wow, that sounded very arrogant. No offence, but I doubt you had anything to say about whether the HUEs got ModCP abilities or not, and please don't tell me, "I voted in a poll", because that means basically nothing.

Of course it is necessary for you, even though you don't even do half the amount of work the HUEs do, do. I barely ever see you lock, or even post for that matter, so show me why you deserve it, before you start pointing out why others don't.

EDIT: As to all the other sectionals, or most of them, after reading what you posted. You all act like you need the ModCP and staff lounge or you can't even do your job. To some on page 3, banning people constantly? I think that's a bit of an overstatement.

 

So, none of you see the ripped tutorials, bad guides/warez posted, or people acting like total asses in User Education?

Just because I don't bug the Globals and Admins to your knowledge, doesn't mean it isn't done. Assigning ranks? Fuck dude, do you know how painful it is to deny someone who actually PUTS effort into their application? It's really sad to do that, if I could accept everyone with a good level of intelligence, I would. But UE's do a lot more than you see. And if Unknown were here, well, we'd be forced into a lot of other crap >.>.

 

If they post all that then why were they accepted in the first place?

Its not even a very active part of the forums.

And people that do use well most of them just want the rank.
Shawn has to put it with people that use the something for all forum to spam their posts up.

Just today someone requested a site for Pirated movies, which is Warez.




Users will be banned permanently for the following:

- Warez: posting direct downloads to Warez, links of websites related to Warez - includes: posting full length motion pictures (movies) regardless of whether or not they are in theaters or on dvd, completed seasons of a television show (1-2 episodes due to comical reasons are permitted), shareware programs, cracked shareware programs, cracks/serials for shareware programs, etc...

He didn't, but that's because I'm on top of things . If a random User would have, I would have had to contact someone to infract upon him, etc...

Technically you told him how to find warez =/ so you should have been infracted aswell but I believe you just got warned by a global. -.-

Well technically its the same thing. You didn't give a link you gave him a whole resource on how to find them.

 

He asked for where he could find serials on a CD he owned, I told him what you could google to find that serial. I never said which link it was for a specific reason. There's loopholes everywhere, you just have to find how to exploit them.

You shouldn't even of got the HUD position in the first place with all those infractions you had.

And no, I'm not a rule breaker, because I don't break the rules, I follow them very closely, Sythe.org people in power, however, see it in a different way. It's not my fault they feel I've broken the rules.

Just because you are now a HUE which I doubt you would have if you wouldn't have betrayed Six and you found it as the only way to get the job.

 

I busted my ass for what was promised to me (HUE) but I didn't get it, so i don't care if good comes of it etc. and i don't think they do either.

Respect is earned not demanded BTW.

He was a scammer and deacon got him banned?

I am not saying he should not have been banned and the only reason Deacon reported really is so he could take over his HUE position.

Six never even used the black market when he was here so it really would not have mattered -.-
