    No Item Duplicating Glitches Exist

Jagex has changed the way Item Lending works so that no item can be duplicated and kept permanently. Anybody who says it's CURRENTLY possible is either trying to get attention or trying to scam you.

I've already gone to one of these "Does this item lending glitch work?"

Refer to this thread for two offers for item-lending glitches. So far, no takers; just a lot of smoke-blowers:

yea, jagex made item lending pretty solid. There might be item lending glitches if jagex updates the lending system... but other than that, be careful of people selling "guides."

We found a glitch that allowed duplication of Obsidian Capes. It involved Tokkul and a few other things. We only did it a few times on low-level accounts (and a dialup, so that we wouldn't get IP banned) to test it. It took a while to complete a duplication, and it was more bother (to us) then it was worth. However, one friend we gave this to made about 60 capes before Jagex patched it. Surprisingly, he didn't get banned (yet).

There may have been other ways of duplicating things, but if any existed, they were patched within a few hours, as Jagex was logging the item lending system when it first came out, letting the players find the bugs for them.
