    That's a mod power, and it's probably going to stay that way. People could change them if they suddenly want to hide something. I think it would mess up the mod scores also if that was done.

    Staff already come up as bold, it makes it easier to recognise a staff member if someone needs to get in contact one. It would just cause confusion.

    Eh they'd still stand out. I mean underlined names are already there for Staff Alternative accounts. I don't think it's gonna be that eye catching, not to mention there's no real purpose for it, most people only really need that list when they need to find/contact a staff member.

    Also if you don't mind could you ask matthew why there is a 3 week delay on UI?

    Full disclosure: I haven't read the whole thread but I'll at least address your suggestions.

    So the primary issue with most of these suggestions is that all donors are in the same user group. As in, there aren't different user groups for each donations level. So, I can't really specify that $x+ donors have more PM space.

    Most donor perks are for all donors except for ranks/title/images. Ranks, titles, and images are handled manually through the approval process, so we can screen things and impose restrictions. With things like inbox size, however, we cannot do this because the limits are handled by vBulletin, not the donations system. When you submit a request for a username image or whatever other perk, it goes through the donation system for approval and then, once approved, I've written scripts which push the change TO vBulletin.

    So, now that you have the background, the following suggestions would not work because of this configuration:
    - Increased inbox space
    - "Upper" donor lounge
    - Remove/limit number of Ads
    - More/new thread icons
    - Custom icons

    The following suggestions are possible:
    - Multiple UI's

    The following suggestions are not possible or are not going to be approved:
    - Customizable profile pages
    - Ability to create and submit own fun rank
    - Ability to upload own 150x100 avatar

    The following are possible but will not be approved as the limits are already high enough:
    - Larger character limit for user titles
    - Slightly larger avatar size limitations

    I hope that addresses things for you... If we made a significant change to how donations work (which is splitting donors up into groups by level) we could make some of the above suggestions possible. However, it would require a lot of work to make those changes.

    I completely agree more perks are needed, especially for higher levels. However, with vb4 ideally coming in the near future, I've more or less stopped developing things until we get to the new software platform.

    I agree with most of the suggestions besides this one: Ability to create and submit own fun rank

    If this means that they're allowed to create and submit it, I assume it'll be used for the individual that donated $300+. It's really pointless since they have a $300+ donation rank with the custom 2 icons.

    Thanks for the insight Matthew. Going to close this for now... Maybe we can revisit it after VB4. Hopefully once that happens, Matt will be a little more willing to write some new scripts/features that could possibly benefit donors in the future.
