New bot nuke by Jacmob

I hope ,that he is not lying . It would be good to see bot free worlds again. Yeah I am one of players of this game and I do not bother botting it. So I prefer removing bots.

 

I wonder what will happen to the accounts that used a bot made by an untrusted person who's work is now worthless.

They can't do that unless it's installed on your PC and you accept agreement that they are allowed to monitor processes on your PC which is a privacy volitional.

There will always be bots. injection bots are the only bots that can be stopped 100%. It takes Jagex a whole lot of effort to stop botting. They have to beat the program at work.

 

They don't need to 100% stop botting. They just need to make the banrate too high to make it worthwhile. Would anyone here use a script with a 50% banrate? Don't think so.

 

Black and white RS would be fun, right?

 

Personally, I'm not sure that they can stop color bots, the only way to combat them, is somehow make it much easier to detect them - thus banning them all, and make it no longer worth botting.
I hope they suceed, and bots can be gone once and for all.

 

Jagex hunt goldfarmers not botters. I think it will be hard to remove all colorbots from the game. Injection/reflection bots will most likely get nuked again.

 

All they need to do to stop color bots is make Rs black and white

 

Would be real pain in the ass if they removed the toptext :X

 

To be honest, goldfarming is actually a hugely inefficent way to gain gold, unless you do it on a large scale.

In order to stop every bot they would need to make everything look like a acid trip, which everything doing rainbow colors at irregular intervals and changing shape and size would not only draw back from the people who play it but would just look terrible, there will always be bots there is a whole world of methods unused by the masses for botting on runescape, if jagex\jacomb whoever really thinks this will stop bots 100% for even a short while they are sadly mistaken, the last nuke they had my bot was up after only 3 hours. So should be interesting.

 

Eh, I disagree. Some of the best times for me on this game were spent during times where there were no major bots being used. There's new players every day, the content is always going to be fresh and new to somebody. Attempting to completely eradicate bots would be a fools errand, but taking measures to stop the bots that they have the ability to stop is a good thing. It puts everyone at an even level.. I remember back in the day it was always a competition between my friends of who had the highest levels. Not so much anymore, it's all about wealth. If you stop the massive inflow of GP and raw materials that bots offered, it becomes less and less about who has the most bills and more about who is the better player. I have no doubt that RuneScape will die one day, but it's still one of the most popular MMORPGs as it stands. It's got a while left.

 

How do you use simba?

 

I have no idea how they will stop color/shape bots, but I'm not a professional programmer like the people working on RuneScape.
