New bot nuke by Jacmob

simba will still live through the nuke, simba is like cocroaches, they never die!

 

Meh I survived the first nuke on my account which I botted 24/7 on for a few months straight. All I can say to this one is good luck.

Jacmob is a very intelligent dude so Im guessing they will successfully be able to take down most bots excluding simba.

 

I think a small amount of bots will live through this larger nuke, and RS will go back to how it was right after the last nuke (almost NO bots whatsoever), but within a few months you will start to see the return of small bots... sorc garden, dragon bots etc.

I would still really like to punch Jacmob in the face though, even though I am not a botter lol.

 

Wow, as soon as i start using epic bot this happens :/ Makes me sad.

People who uses bots which are more than 60% of runescape players hate you for this. What's the point for doing another nuke? All survived the first nuke so the second too!
People of Epicbot [maybe others] are strong and firm for putting their bot back, maybe Jacmob needs to stop them
For Simba, they can't be nuked, Simba uses another type of bot type runescape.
Jacmob needs to wake up and release that someday Jagex Staff/Employees will kick his ass one's the job's is done to kill all bots

 

wy they only launch bot nukes? how about a real nuke kill every botting faq and bots will be gone

I think Jacmob is telling the truth. I believe this next nuke will take down every bot in existence. If any bots will recover it'll be RiD. If they don't however I think botting will officially be dead.

color shape bots click colors and shapes, so would jagex just take out shapes and colors for the game? so the new bot nuke would look like this:

Will be interesting to read up on the update once it happens. I don't think it will have the impact people are speculating, but it should damage a fair few projects.

 

Bots will never be dead.

People have declared them dead multiple times over the last 9 years and every time they were back better than before.

As for Jacmob, if he ever gets fired he will go back to building bots, he is in it for the money, just like anyone else. When that day does come, there is no one I would want more designing the next bot than the only competent guy on Jagex's staff at writing bot detection and prevention systems.

 

I don't know why they are doing these nukes, when majority of the money they make from membership/etc.. Is on botted accounts considering it'd be atleast 40% of the runescape community, ending bots would equal them shooting themselves in the foot decreasing their sales in membership not that they would really need it anymore as for how long it's already been up and the profit they've already made but they could consider many other options, like mass bans and flagging IPs although would take effort singleing out single IPs, but they'd still be making money off the botters Eg, the membership on the account before ban. If they wanted to counter RWT they could just offer RSGP to be bought on their site/ in a card for X amount of dollars also if they wanted to counter gold trading why not cancel them out and sell it themselves, after all money is the name of the game but let's face it Jagex are a bunch of fucking retards and Jacmod may be intelligent but he is honestly retarded unless they are paying him a lot of money, I mean a lot. To wipe bots that him, himself making money from to work for them is just dumb, unless they offered a substantial amount of money. Someone will find a way, maybe months or even a year someone will be dedicated to take on the task, but this looks like it will be a big blow to the botting side of Runescape. It's only Runescape so fuck it.

 

RuneDream is the future if Jagex aka Jacmob gets read of all injection bots. Meh First it was color, Reflection, Injection for now aka RareBot, then Color.

I like this .... Bots will never die.

 

I can't imagine this will affect (long term) anything more than Injection bots.

I am still trying to think of a way to stop color bots without making the game unplayable by humans. Hmmm.... Maybe if they change the controls from mouse to keyboard? I mean you would have to re-do the entire thought process of a bot.
