Is the ps3 really that good? ive heard some negative shit about it and I was just wondering what was up with it. Any good games coming out? I wish a price drop would come and kick the price's ass.

LOL. You're kidding me right? The basis of your argument is a better version of a multiplatform game that no one cares about on the 360? I mean, they're both good consoles but that is one WEAK ASS argument.

Curt, seriously, now is the time to get a PS3. Prices have fallen already and there may even be another one coming up soon. There were some good games in 07 (Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Warhawk, UT3 etc.) but none of that compares to what's coming in 08 for the PS3. To name a few exclusives, MGS4, Killzone 2, Haze (possibly), Little Big Planet, possibly a couple new Final Fantasies etc. as well as some multiplats like DMC4 and GTAIV. Next year is also the launch of Home - google it. Most people will agree that 08 is PS3s year.
As for the 360, there are undoubtedly some great games for it, as well as XBL, but if you really take a look at the games you'll see that most of them are coming out on the PC sooner or later. Whereas with the Wii and PS3, exclusives stay solely on their respective console.

Unless you're using dial up you should be able to take the Ethernet cord (the one that looks like an over sized phone cord) straight out of your computer and plug it into your xbox 360. It is advised you get a hub/router so you don't have to keep switching the cord back and fourth.

Another thing you should know is that xbox live isn't free it costs 17.99 USD. for a 3 months subscription.
