Need help setting up router.

I recently bought a router so I could share my internet around the house. Although I have a rather different setup needed. My internet is wireless(not meaning router wireless)
I want my router to share my wireless internet. therefore my router will have to be attached to my pc. If anyone could help I would be very greatful

This is very interesting. If you dont pay for the wireless im not sure if you can hook a router up to it. well have you Ran the disk on your laptop? routers only work with modems. the modem sends a signal to the router through the wire and the router either has wireless and/or hardwired signals to your computer. please give me feedback if this helped

Are you connecting to your own signal? or somebody else? or your cellphone or something?

 

I have the same question. A different way of saying it might be that you want your router to connect to a network and therefore extend the range of the orginal wireless network.
