Hi,
I decided to create my own little server so that me and my brothers could have a go on MoparScape. I followed this tutorial: http://www.teenhut.net/moparscape-runescape/2408-how-create-server-moparscape.html pretty much to-the-word. I left out the no-ip bit though, because I figured we could just use my internal IP (static).
I logged in first with the ip 127.0.0.1 (with no runserver file running). The commands such as :
ickup [id] worked, but I couldn't interact with anything (i.e. I couldn't hit the dummies or talk to anyone) and when I spawned an NPC, I'd hit it once and its image would mess up and it would die in one hit. Strange. I also couldn't fire arrows - I just hit people with the bow. I figured out that I needed the runserver file running, but when I did, I could interact with things but not use any commands!
One thing that I have noticed (when I tried using a different source) is that I get the error: "Error: Unable to start listener on 43594 - port already in use?". But I have already forwarded said port:
LAN IP Address: 192.168.2.7
Description: MoparScape
Protocol Type: TCP & UDP
LAN Port: 43594
Public Port: 43594
So I'm not entirely sure what's going on lol.
If anyone can shed any light on this, that'd be great, as I really want to play with full functionality!
Thanks.
PS: If you need any more info, please ask
