My thoughts on 2007 GE.

Well with that attitude why haven't you quit yet? Nonchalance is even worse than fighting against something needless.

Idgaf if GE is added, I'd actually be able to double or triple my bank.

However the integrity and difficulty factor of the game will be compromised. It could also be a gateway for microtransactions and the infamous "cosmetic" items to seep its way into "Old School" Runescape.

 

I'll never fully quit Runescape. I actually voted for a yes on the GE today. It is indeed still a game. These updates are going to eventually come in, one way or another.

Several times Jagex has showed to us that they will go against their own words. They will do to OSRS what they did to Rs3. It's only a matter of time.

Let's hope they don't put in the micros....

 

I think all of these GE topics should be smashed into one thread because it seems to be on everybody's mind.

 

So basically we have the same beliefs, just slightly different philosophies on said beliefs. Fair enough.

I respect that.

I just don't think we should be so pessimistic, I think with enough influence we can get a lot of the crap things like MTX and free xp and cosmetic crap out of OSRS for good.

 

without content it will die. They need GE, they need new bosses and so on. Thats the only way to get new players.
