Zeah Release - Thoughts?

Im finding Zeah very frustrating at the start trying to find an area/start in the one of the houses and just so much hype over it and then being a big disappointment

 

This is going to do great things for the economy. Especially with the addition of new gear

 

I hope it will increase gold prices due to new content they are going to add.

 

G.E. + Stupid updates = EOC

History always repeats itself, How long till they remove wildy and free trade?

 

I had a big hunch that this might be a fail and I think I was right. Not interested in it.

 

Unfortunately, they've shown us time and time again throughout the years that they do not work with our feedback. Rather, they implement useless BS that harms the gameplay.

 

But hey, look at the +3 melee strength bonus...wonder which part of the gear give that, and if it's 1 def wearable, pure gonna own

 

I honestly think the OSRS team has been doing a pretty good job of listening to the community with the Q&A dev streams and polling of all potential content. But it is such a small group (I think ~5 developers?) that they are very limited in what they can do, and I feel like Zeah may have been too big of an undertaking for them; it just doesn't live up to what they made it out to be.

I believe the gloves are the part that give +3 strength, and all of the pieces require 20 defence to wear. Even so, mith gloves/regen brace already give +6/+7 to strength for 1 def pures.

 

Now is released but I don't like it actually..

I think it's honestly only going to be useful for cosmetic or collectable purposes. I mean why even both to get full favor for it if it's got the same stats as full black? I hope there's better gear rewards from the other houses at least.

 

As a pure, I'm very limited to bossing but in the case that I turn into a zerker, I'm somewhat interested in what Zeah. Regardless, I'm curious to what Zeah will bring to the game, especially the new spell book.

 

Since there are going to be 3 Zeah releases, I feel like this one was aimed at lower/mid level players (besides rcing). As for the next release will be raids and some other stuff which is aimed at higher level players. I was extremely disappointed in the Necromancy spellbook, not even low level players would care to use this as it's a waste of time to even get 100% for so little experience. I feel like there should've been more things with it such as teleports. Overall Zeah was meh.

 

Another fail by yours truly Jagex... only content worth doing IMO is crafting soul runes.

 

It's just a waste of time. It's overly complex with poor rewards. It's basically a whole lot of nothingness.

 

Yeah. While I understand the idea of not making current content dead by giving good rewards, I don't think the solution is releasing new content that is instantly dead

 

I agree with all of these opinions.

It seems so incomplete and rushed, almost like it's been added in by a third party, not the actual owners of the game. Not even sure how this really passed a poll. Great for individuals who've finished everything OSRS has to offer, so they have some new stuff, but it just looks gross.

 

what a legit bust. the only good thing to come out of zeah, was the runecrafting..... and maybe another farming patch
