My horifing vista problem

every day my computer does this. Weather im playing runescape or somthing, at a random time my vista locks my computer up. I mean lock as in the option when shutting down. I have to keep signing in again and again and again! Help please. I need it. Even when posting this problem it happened. Its this bad. HELP!

 

One suggestion. Get windows XP installed before windows calls all the disks or whatever back and you can't buy them anymore. Vista sucks, I have it on my laptop and it laggs, freezes, suddenly shuts off, gives bogus errors, can't fix network connections and all that good stuff. Just a suggestion...

 

Lol.. It depends on your computer.
Dont buy a computer with a differant O/S and install vista.
biggest mistake ever.
Computers with Vista on it already are specially designed to keep it operating smoothely...
i figured that out.
So dont eva buy Vista to upgrade..
either buy a new computer with vista installed or keep your old one.

And they wont just recall vista because its buggy >.<

 

Have you installed/downloaded patches, and fixes? That may help, also, if you want to try it, you can reset it to factory settings, I did that with the one I am on now, its a laptop. My mom just gave it too me, and I just restored it and I put the fixes on them. Just keep up with fixes, soon enough Vista will be ok.

 

Yes do what loren said go to windows updates and install everything. If that doesn't work reinstall vista and don't do any updates.

 

Er, are you using the beta/trial version of windows?

I have the beta version of windows vista (from february 2006) installed on a partition, and it does that too, because I have yet to "pay" for the real vista.

 

No, i have the real version. Its competely payed for. Havent installed anything scince it started happening. Havent changed any settings..... I installed all the updates. i think. But its still happening. Oh and also i cant capitalize some letters, like a,s,d,f,j,k,l,t, and y. And i cant use colin. If i do somehow get to press colin, my computer logs me out. Its so annyoing. Holy crud. I can use some of my keys now....... Ok... It looks like my computer is cutting me a break...... ASDFJKLTY. It works now. Just hope it stays like this. Ok. Now i can do everything again! ::::::: sweet. Ehh. If it happens again ill post here. Looks like when i unistalled the japanese ime it fixed it... Ahh, but now i cant write in japanese >.< WAHHHHH!

vista service pack 1? go download all of the updates from microsoft and make sure everything is up to date

 

meh, ever sence ive had vista i reckon it owns, most ppl hate it i reckon vista>xp thats just my opinion.
