I appreciate your honesty.
So this living prophet, essentially a Mormon 'Pope' right? How does this prophet become appointed?
Yeah I guess the prophet could be considered the "Mormon Pope." The prophet is appointed by being the next in line leadership wise. We have a prophet, and then the Council of the 12 Apostles, and so on. Last year our current prophet died at the age of 97, and the next person in line became our new prophet.
Also, do you, as a Mormon, struggle with your own church doctrine? What specifically about your own belief system do you find hard to believe? I've known many Mormons who struggle to grip their beliefs, particularly the origins of Mormonism. (Joseph Smith being the only man to ever have seen the revealed word)
No, most of the time I believe in all of the doctrine of the church. However, I don't like going to church for 3 hours every sunday, (crazy eh)? and going on a 2 year mission to another country when I turn 19 is mind-boggling. But I honestly believe in the church by the feeling that I get when I read the Book of Mormon "our bible," so to speak, and attend church meetings.
Yeah, it is pretty strict, but you get used to it after a while

. And honestly, most of the strict things a smart person would do anyway (no smoking, drinking, premarital sex, ect.)
Before, it stated in your Bible that black people are a lower life form or something (idk exactly...), but then it "vanished" from your Bible.
And like you have all these black people in the mormon church like wtf? lol
Um yeah, in the Book of Mormon, "our bible," so to speak, it tells about people that lived in the U.S./Southern America, I guess they could have been the Native Americans, but the good people were called Nephites, and had White skin, and the bad people were called Lamanites, and generally had darker skin, however, later the Lamanites became better then the Nephites and that didn't apply anymore. Does that answer your question?
The people that come to your door early in the morning? I think their annoying
Yeah, I guess:laugh: The men are supposed to go on missions when they turn 19 for two years to help spread the gospel and so that is why you've probably had those "annoying people" who come to your door early in the morning. Ha ha
