What you think about ghosts?

Until an plausible explanation for ghosts as physical things comes along, and until I see a 'ghost' with my own eyes, I have no reason to believe.

If it is no more than an opinion (which is still a belief), then it is not a theory. A theory is a well-substantiated amalgamation of facts, evidence, predictions, and explanations that is logically self-consistent (the theory of evolution, gravitational theory, etc. are prime examples). The word you should use is "hypothesis".

I believe that ghosts don't exist, nor does anything even remotely spiritual.

 

Ok, what if you get attacked at night and have no scientific explaination?

 

The thing is, though, that I won't randomly get attacked. That's like asking an Atheist "What if God appears to you?".

 

How do you know you won't be attacked?

 

Who has ever been attacked by ghosts at night? Certainly, people claim to be, but people also claim to be Jesus, Elvis, and even Hitler. Yet do we take these claims seriously?

If ghosts are real, why haven't they been captured on film by an independent team of unbiased researchers? Why is it always the shoddy home video amateurs?

 

But seeing isn't everything, we can't see oxygen but it still exists.

Well people are/will always try and make money off it, that's why it'll probably remain likes this for a number of years.

 

We cannot see gaseous oxygen on the scale that our naked eyes see, but we can detect it, touch it, and use it for things. Who has detected a ghost?

What about when people have a feeling that there not alone, or they feel their is someone there.

 

It's mistaken. I hope nobody actually believes that they have some magical sense that somehow roves around the room, detects somebody else, and reports back to the brain.

Sometimes, people feel such things, and are correct, due to subtle clues (quiet noises, etc.).

um one time i was sleeping when i was a real young kid at like the age of 5 or so and my mom saw me just sitting up straight for no reason than laid back down and did that for like 5 times yet i did not knoww anything happened when i was awake and my mom told me it than she showed me a video tape since she wanted to show me how weird it was and i was like"weird"


and what about when your at night in your house all alone and you are downstairs than you hear something from upstairs...... what could that be?

Ghosts aren't real. People have been claiming they are, however to this day, all they have to show for it is blurry youtube videos.

I believe souls are real and that can be considered a Spirit, So in a sense, Ghosts might be Souls.

 

Yeah i believe in ghosts. Their most common form is a type of mist, it makes you freezeing even if its like 90 outside, Ghosts aren't just in human form. I also believe the ghosts of gettysburg are real.
