More Community Activities

[Skiller]

Hello,

I know I am extremely new to this fourm base, so I do not expect my opinion to be valued too much, however I feel this could do the community and website as a whole some good.
I saw the thread regarding the Pool tournament, which is a great idea idea and should be developed further.
I believe that weekly / fortnightly / monthly there should~could be events for the community here at Sythe. This would aim to 'bond' the community, for lack of a better, and encourage more interaction between the members. Perhaps once every 6 months, a rank could be given out (The Competition Winner) rank for example for an event which should be hyped up about. I am currently not sure on what the rewards for weekly /fortnightly / monthly would be, however I believe another member of the community could assist me with that. Members could possibly be allocated positions within Sythe to organise/manage these events, maybe a Mod who would oversee it all?
What do you think?

Possibly Events:
1) Minigames such as the 8ball Pool
2) GFX Tournaments
3) Trivia Questions (Table-Quiz Type Questions)
4) Something related to Coding and Java (not sure as of yet)
5)

More to come if I think of them.

Good idea. I'd expect monthly tournamens as it does take alot of organizing for these kind of events. I'd like to see this!

This is not dumb/stupid, and easily implemented and regulated with the new community development and I'm sure they, along with myself would openly invite anyone to give suggestions about new events.

However, you can't just say you want new events, what kind of events?

Possible Events have been added.

I can assure you a load more community events are being discussed and thought about by the Community Development Team.

If you missed it, there are now even more members on the team to make sure more and more suggestions are brought to the table. (http://www.sythe.org/community-general/1495960-welcome-new-community-development-team-members.html).

A pool tournament was just run and Graphic Saturday's have been running for a bit already. Contact a member of the team if you have any additional ideas.

Member of the Month is also run by the team, make sure to join in http://www.sythe.org/community-gene...member-month-community-development-event.html
