[hey guys]

i was watchign that.. omfg that was the best most epic freaking kick ever like omfg...

I was wondering what Pettis was doing bouncing off the cage.

Would have been KO of the year if it was an actual knockout. But im glad Pettis took advantage of knowing he had to do something flashy because it was an back and forth fight. THAT kick was the reason he won.

The only other time i saw someone use the cage to strike was Alan Belcher vs Sexyama

Robbie Lawler..another title shot -.-.....And Evangelista has no chance.

And Herchel Walker has 1 fight on his resume vs a no-name and is on the maincard. Strikeforce is starting to scare me out of how desperate they are.

Lolz. Lawler has the power to KO Souza, BUT! Souza will sub him pretty quick. And you always have a chance, no matter how small it will be. Cyborg has good power too.

[Lured Yah]

I don't really follow it or anything, Just when I see it I'm normally like "ouch, that's gotta hurt" lol

Souza is a top of the food chain Jiu Jutsu Artist. If Shields could submit Lawler, Souza will do it faster and in better fashion.

Cyborg is gonna gas himself within 10 seconds, with Nick teeing off him and tagging him with shots.

Basicaly i think both are gonna get submitted. Its pretty much a Jiu Jutsu VS striker match in both areas. Except one of the Jiu Jusu Artists can strike himself, and bot the strikers are little to no ground game.

Once Cyborg hits the floor its over.

I agree with that. But I am just saying Lawler only needs one shot, and just remember, it starts on the feet. Souza does have world class jj though so should take it easy.
Zaromskis would do better to get his wife to fight for him, enough said.

What Zaromskis shoulda done is take it to the ground. Im really surprised Cyborg managed to get a title shot so fast. he just needs to be tested more. Cyborg needs to pace himself and get an actual ground-game.

Lawler i have a feeling will get submitted. Souza inst just a good jiu Jiutsu artist, hes a world class artist and a multiple time World BJJ Champion. hes on top with Maia and Werdum as being arguably three top best Brazilian Jiu Jutsu Artists in MMA right now.
(note: i included BJJ so there may be other good submission artists but im talking about BJJ wise)

But anything could happen just like Gegard Mousasi knocking Souza out with a up-kick . Watch that vid, it was pretty sick

Side note with BJJ Champion Roger Gracie imo > everyone else you listed in BJJ.
Souza is a world class artist though, and go to youtube and watch some of Maia's, Souza bjj comp videos. They are great.
Lawler will lose, and Cyborg will lose, but never count them out is all I am saying.
I have seen that video.
Also Robert Drysdale, another great bjj practicioner is starting mma. Google his name, he is amazing at bjj.

Im talking about guys who are in MMA atm. Roger is still a newbie and is not as deep as those 3 in the fight game. You do realize Souza and Roger can never submit each other right? They both won each other by points.
I dont think any is better, but they are all on the same-par as each other. As in being great BJJ artists. And i have saw most of Souza and Maias videos.

I just dont think Roger has fought someone credible enough yet to be a force to be reckoned with in MMA. In MMA if you cant strike, you cant set-up takedowns unless you keep trying to pull guard. And MOST top fighters have a good ground-game and can easily defend submissions. Which is why most Championsihp matchs in the UFC/Strikeforce rarely ends in submissions.

Look at Maia, he was completely picked apart by Silva. Have a guy that moves well and an uppercut/knee( or in pablo garzas way a flying knee) The submission fighter will be in trouble. Which is why i think GSP will pick Shields apart. GSP has good submission defense, which could easily neutralize any submission attempt Shields will make, not to mention GSP is stronger as well.

And Hominick VS Aldo will be a war. When i saw Hominick last fight i almost fell off my chair at how good he is able to couterstrike Roop. I mean Roop was moving VERY nicely, but still got caught by Hominicks accuracy.

Your also considering you never have top class bjj players in title fights, because they arent well rounded enough. Maia couldnt get it to the ground against anderson silva, kind of like thales fight with him, and if you think about it, he doesnt have any quality subs over good bjj players. He couldnt finish Miranda, a bjj black belt, and he co uldnt finish Grove, which I think is a bjj black belt.
Roger Gracie still imo is the best bjj artist in the world. He is still at the beginning of his career, but GSP recently rolled with him, and he said he got his ass kicked.
Shields also doesnt have the bjj of the Souza/Gracie/Maia category, even if he does have good ones.
Aldo will ko hominick badly. Hominick says that aldo hasnt fought a striker like him, well, Hominick hasnt fought someone of his class either.

Its a war in between them. Aldos got leg kicks that can turn the fight around easily. You can refuse to strike with him, but he'll force you to like he did to Manny. You can stay on the outside all you want, but when the legkicks come in, your gonna start to lose the fight.

I would like to see Roger fight more and check him out. Roger Looks promising, but i wouldnt jump too quick into conclusions. Souza/Roger are simply both beating each other on and off. And dont forget in BJJ fights you cant punch on the ground, you cant slam etc. Submitting someone in MMA is much harder. I dont think anyone wants to try to triangle Quinton Jackson ever again lol.

Rampage is just a side note. You cant try and triangle him, becuase you will get powerbombed. He tried to slam machida, and forrest but they smartly dropped the sub.
Roger i thought I read that he is more committed to mma now, but IDK.
Aldo also has underrated bjj that he doesnt normally need to use, plus good takedown defense. The best striking at 145 helps too. He put Mannys lights out quick with that nasty gnp.

If more people start learning how to powerbomb like Jackson, triangles and armbars from the back will be less of a threat. But to be honest i've seen no1 being able to do it. Mainly because Jackson must have been so used to it.

Aldo is also a BJJ world champrion, he could have ended the Faber fight by submission, but Aldo just blatantly refuses to use submissions. He wants knock-outs and wants them bad. Hominick is going to be in trouble mainly beause Aldo is fast, Aldo has good TTD, and striking easily on par with Hominicks. Aldo on top of that is unpredictable.

If Hominick refuses to exchange, as i said, watch the leg kicks start raining in.

Aldo vs Hominick comparison
Striking: Aldo
Muay Thai: Aldo
Wrestling: Push
Ground Game: Aldo
Submissions: Push (mainly because aldo refuses to use them)
A lot of people also dont have the power to pick them up and slam them like that.
Rampage is just rampage.

They could if they bother with it. I think mainly because they dont commit to it as much as Rampage does.

If Aldo does go for submissions he probabyl could get them. In the earlier part of his career Aldo was always called "A Jiu jutsu fighter" Which is funny because he barely uses them. I just think he could defend them. He got caught once, but that was a looong time ago.

I dont think Hominick will sub him though. I am waiting for Aldo to move up, because he has cleaned out the fw division.

Inst Tim Sylvia a super heavywieight atm? I still dont think hes eanring more than he was back in the UFC. He was complaining about his salary. I mean Silva barely earned 80k which is 1/5 of what Brock makes each fight during most of Silva's title reign.

I think americans are greedy fucks.

And i already know the winners. But Lawler and Cyborg both have the "punchers chance"

Main event is on now, I am streaming it.
He is fighting at SHW. He weighed in 311, but his opponent weighed in at 258
Lesnar is also the biggest draw in the UFC.
Silva does deserve more though.
Lawler has a better chance imo, but they both arent going to win.
Edit: Abe Wagner beat Tim Sylvia in 15 seconds.
