Lesnar is just being used as a cash cow to rake in money.
Well we'll see if Dos Santos has the ability to withstand Lesnar's takedowns.

 

He is, but Dos Santos wanted to fight so he got one. I would prefer he fight Carwin for the title shot, but that is me.
TUF is going to have its best ratings prob.
I see Dos Santos winning if he can stay on the feet, but Lesnar will take it on the ground. I believe Brock will win this , but JDS could ko him quick.

 

I think its the perfect test for JDS. If JDS can get up as quick as Cain did, Brock will think twice about wasting energy taking JDS down. But wait...JDS's striking is so good, not taking him down inst an option.

On top of that JDS inst a bad BJJ guy either.

Well the heavyweight division is full of wrestlers at the top, so a striker like JDS just doesnt seem to be able to fit because of that. Defending a takedown is almost harder than taking someone down thats 25 pounds lighter than you.

 

Exactly, that 25 lb weight advantage is an advantage for Brock the gorrilla man bear pig. Brock has a good chin/ he just doesnt like/ isnt used to getting punched in the face. He survived all of that nasty gnp and striking from carwin, where everyone else was out. Im waiting for this season of tuf, it is going to be interesting with him there

 

You have to notice tho that JDS's boxing is better than Carwin's. Its more flush and crisp than Carwin's brawling. Carwins got power, but JDS has the real actual skill.

JDS does have good techinacal standup, but not have the power Carwin does.

I like watching him fight when he tries to fight like heh can. He still is p4p best imo, so I dont care what other people say. There is strikeforce with Diaz and cyborg fighting, and Ultimate Fight Night, before that so at least there is something to get to the next big ppv.

 

Oh god Evangelista Cyborg? Strikeforce is throwing titleshots everywhere. The CEO is a dumbass. I'd put money on Diaz 100%. Paul Daley will defintely get a title shot in seconds also.

You'll probably see Dana White thinking-"how does strikeforce run these things"

 

HE got it because of his great showing against Zaromskis. It is too early for a title shot for him, but he does have good power in his hands and feet. Diaz will beat him in two rounds though.
Daley will prob get next title shot though.

 

Yeah yeah, title shots after beating a top guy once. that's strikforce's idea of a "title". Should have at leats a Daley VS Evangelista first. But still i think Nciks got this easy, Evangelista has no ground game.

Shogun doesnt have to, i predict honestly a KO any round by Shogun.

SHoguns attacking from all directions, great takedown defense. Rashad hasn't fought a guy like Shogun yet.

I dont know, Shogun will prob win, but Shogun has had conditioning issues, while rashad can wear him down quick with wrastling.

 

Oh the 22nd . Well If Shogun finishes fast it'll be over quick. Rashads good at wrestling yes, but its not like its the first time Shoguns fought a wrestler.
Shoguns unpredictable, the reason why Machida lost the second fight. No one in the UFC came out throwing punchs as furious as Shogun during that fight, he wasnt even afraid of Machida catching HIM instead.

 

Shogun has fought wrestlers, but he hasnt fought them at the caliber of Rashad inside a cage. Cages are a lot better for Wrestlers, unlike ropes.
It also depends on how his knee is doing, becasue he has had knee problems for a while on that. Rashad could easily take this, but Shogun has the one shot power, and Rashad doesnt have the best chin.

 

I still want Shogun to win >.>, best 205er at one time. Its time for him to claim the crown.
Light Heavyweight is one of the most exciting divisions.
And Clay Guida VS Anthony Pettis IS the light weight championship fight in my eyes. No fucking way i wanna see a Edgar vs Maynard 3.
