No bias there at all right?
It was a great fight, but that was in 2010, not 2011.

I'm not bias at all, the worst thing is seeing the same guys fighting for another expected decision. The lightweight division is just becoming boredom championship fights ever since BJ Penn couldnt adapt to Edgar's style of fighting.
When BJ was champion it was all fireworks. Now i'm almost 90% sure the next fight is another decision. Edgar and Maynard have to change or else its another snoozefest.
Im looking forward to Guida + Pettis because both of those give extremely exciting fights.

I was talking about him picking Hendo-Pettis for foty for bias.
Same here about Guida-Pettis. I believe Guida will finish him though.
I wanna see another ninja kick though

I cant see a winner in either one of them. All i know is the fight will probably be a bloodfest or someones ending it.

This is one of those fights like Machida VS Shogun where you just have no idea whose gonna win and placing a bet on either is risky.
I honestly want Guida to win, dude always gives great fights in the UFC.

And NOOOOOOOOO vera got cut :(

Vera got cut 2 weeks ago. He deserved to be cut. He needs to wake up and actually fight like he can, because he has gotten tooled last 2 fights.

Meh the Jones fight he made a mistake, the 2nd fight he just forgot to work on his wrestling game. He probably thought Thiago was gonna strike and that's all he trained in. His striking looked as crisp as ever, but when it went to the clinch/ground he was like a beached whale.

I still think he deserved another shot at the very least, i hope when he fights in smaller places he'll try and show the Vera who TKO'd Mir.

He has the talent, but he hasnt put it together. 3 straight losses doesnt help. The jones fight, his mistake was accepting the fight.
I think if Jones/Bader winner going to get Griffin/Ace winner.

Which would in-turn lead to title shot contention for 1 of the 4. But Dont count out Couture + Machida. those two are also pretty big.

My list right now on ranks
    1. Shogun
    2. Rashad
    3. Rampage
    4. Winner of Jones/Bader
    5. Winner of Griffin/Franklin
    6. Winner of Machida/Couture
Machida has lost 2 straight, and Coutures last fight was a joke.
That is why I would have them 6th.

Machida's last lost was very controversial. He lost only because of the 10-point rule, in Pride rules Machida would have win by a margin. the ONLY damage was done by Machida. So i really cant put Rampage in 3 yet. I've yet to see him do anything spectacular in the UFC since his return.

I would slip couture and machida into #5 and flip down Griffin+Franklin to 6th.

Machida has lost 2 straight. The winner of Franklin/Griffin will have won 2 fights in a row, and will be higher than Machida who has lost 2 staight.
Rampage is still 3 to me, becuase he still got the win vs Machida, contreversial or not. I believed Rampage won the fight.

Rampage didn't do anything. he swung wildy like an animal missing, and got 1 small takedown. Machida rocked him, had a submission attempt, had a big takedown, got to full mount.

Compare all that to Rampages "aggressiveness". On top of that Rampage got tooled by Rashad.
A Rematch and once Machida gets back on track and Rampage will be knocked out. Replace Rampage with Andserson Silva and it would be better.

Rampage will be knocked out? Lol he has one of the best chins in MMA
He didnt get tooled by Rashad, he got beat by a superior wrestler, which is what happened for the first two rounds, then he hurt him badly and couldnt finish him in rd 3.
If he gets a rm with him, he will be Rashad this time around.
Anderson Silva isnt a LHW yet, but if he was I'd put him at 2/3 in a heartbeat.
I still think he would tool Shogun though.

Shogun and Silva both have similar fighting styles, both Muay Thai and both dislike going to the ground. So it'll be a 100% satndup war. Silva isnt a legitimate LHW yet , but hes shown to be able to handle and dominate people in that class.

Anyways Im yet to be convinced Rampage is back until he gets a better win.

I doubt he is his old pride self, but I was pumped when he went out to Pride music at 123.
    And Silva's Muay Thai> Shoguns
And Silva doesnt dislike going to the ground, he has a few subs in the ufc.
He is comfortable on the ground.
Silva walks around 225 I though I read, so he would be fine fighting there.
His two fights at lhw were one sided as it gets.

    http://mmajunkie.com/news/22176/ant...ida-set-tapped-headliner-of-tuf-13-finale.mma
Although promised a title shot, final WEC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis (13-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) instead will make his UFC debut against standout Clay Guida (28-11 MMA, 8-5 UFC) in the headliner of The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale, MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has confirmed with event sources.

This past week UFC president Dana White mentioned the fight as a possibility, and today during a Q&A session ahead of UFC Fight Night 23, he said the fight is good to go.

Although White didn't mention a specific date for the fight, MMAjunkie.com has confirmed with sources it'll serve as the TUF 13 Finale headliner.

The event takes place June 4 at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and airs live on Spike TV.

"TUF 13," which begins production this month in Las Vegas, is a welterweights-only season of a reality series that first debuted in 2005. Junior Dos Santos and Brock Lesnar serve as head coaches of the show, which debuts March 30 on Spike TV. Non-cast members often headline the show's live finale.

Earlier this month, Mike Roberts, Pettis' manager, told MMAjunkie.com that the lightweight will not wait for a crack at the winner of a third fight between UFC lightweight champ Frankie Edgar and challenger Gray Maynard following a draw in their second meeting, which took place at UFC 125. Pettis was guaranteed the winner of the fight, though none emerged after the anticlimactic draw. He had the option to sit on the sidelines and await the winner of their third meeting, which comes at UFC 130, but he instead opted for a top-contender's fight.

Pettis earned his shot at UFC gold this past month with a show-stopping victory over then-champ Ben Henderson at WEC 53 that earned him the final WEC lightweight title. It marked his fourth consecutive win, and a fifth-round knockdown from a wall-walk kick proved one of the year's most popular highlights.

"It's unfortunate he doesn't get the title shot, but Anthony is confident, and we as a team are confident in his skills," Pettis' trainer, Duke Roufus, said. "He's got a golden opportunity even with this situation. We're very fortunate that he's been put in the contender position, let alone a shot at the title.

"He's going to take advantage of the opportunity and run with it."

Guida, meanwhile, is back in action after tapping out former PRIDE lightweight champion Takanori Gomi at UFC 125. The win earned him a $60,000 "Submission of the Night" bonus. Following the win, the shaggy-haired fighter, who's won three consecutive fights, said he's gunning for a title shot by the end of the year.

Anderson VS Belfort, unpredictable fight imo, hopefully Silva wins :).
Meanwhile I think Bader will win, i just have that feeling. I wont Jones to win, but Bader will.

Rich VS Forrest, im rooting for Rich and i think Rich will win.

I dont think Anderson-Belfort is that unpredictable. Vitor has great power, but Anderson has a great chin, and better striking and muay thai
I am interested in Bader-Jones. I dont think Jones can ragdoll Bader, but Jones striking is better, and it seems that his mma wrestling has been superior so far as well.
Forrest is my favorite fighter so /bias
Forrest is a good fighter, and can and will beat Rich imo. Forrest is going to be a lot bigger than him come fight time, reach advantage, has solid striking, and has very good bjj. People tend to forget he has a sub win over Shogun.
I also Like Franklin a lot, so I hope it is a war, that noone gets injured from and it ends in a close decision. (Or Forrest rd 1 Ko :D)

Psh Rich will wing it out :) i believe in him. You have to realize Vitor's hands are fucking fast, Silva trys to do his "dodging shit" wont end well. he got tag'd by Sonnen a few times doing that shit. Imagine Vitor tagging him with Vitor's power. Silva will be in HUGE trouble. Im sure Silva is better at striking, HOWEVER he cant take stupid chances like trying to stand in front of Vitor and dodging his attacks. Its psychologically intimidating is it works, however that's not worth the risk. Half the time i have to rewind and see what punch Vitor threw when he kncoks someone out.

Bader has power and is stronger than jones. Look at their physiques, Bader looks like he is out of bodybiulding class 24/7 and looks bigger than Jones, is that a 8 pack i see?. Jones has the speed/creative striking advantage. Bader has the power advantage.

All in all, this is a fucking STACKED fight.
