MiniRanks as a Donor Perk?

What about us $200 donors

Not a bad idea for higher donations as long as they're not able to be traded or given away to friends.

 

This sounds cool af. Definitely a neat little incentive to donate.

 

I see nothing wrong with allowing higher donators to have their own personal minirank(s). Don't really support them being tradeable though. Tradeable mini-ranks should stay where they are at the moment, being earned by competitions or other means.

 

I love this idea, but I feel like you should be able to sell your miniranks , as your made them and they should totally be tradable

 

For users with a lot of miniranks, if they meet the requirement to make one, it'll just be lost in the bunch they already have. Miniranks in general are nothing special so the requirement shouldn't be put too high at all. I'm seeing someone suggest a $1000 perks for a minirank, that's insane. Making it tradable would be a terrible mistake as well.

In my honest opinion, no one who isn't already $300+ donor is going to go "Wow! Look at this! If I donate $300 I get a personal minirank."

There is no wow factor to that perk, I would suggest replacing the prizeboxes or adding them as a sideperk also with $50-$100 donor, and only allowing users to have 1-2 custom miniranks as any more than that and it'll become a cluster. Just my 2 cents.

 

This exactly. I have no desire to donate more for a minirank. Having it as a prizebox replacement works better.

Chloe don't you think a bit more then 1-2 would be better, like others have suggested, say if Divica had a specific custom and gave it out to yourself and the Divica workers? If something like they were clickable and redirected to the site. Something like that?

Just gonna paste what I wrote in the suggestion thread a few months back.

 

Its a great idea. More perks = more donations and its always nice to be able to play with extra features as a reward.

 

100 donor - 1
300 donor -2
500 donor - 3

 

How about a custom for each $100 donated up to a maximum of 5. If its not tradeable then who really cares.

 

I like the idea of some additional donor perks, but I feel like such high donation requirements for a custom mini-rank is reserving certain mini-ranks for individuals with significant amounts of money.

If you were going to donate and receive a mini-rank, I'd rather it be a system where you are allowed to design a mini-rank that is open to all of Sythe to receive in whatever fashion or it is like a custom donor rank that only you can receive (the individual can choose which).

Edit: Not 100% sure how I feel about it tbh. I love the idea of more mini ranks definitely user created one's that are sure to be interesting, but the exclusivity (specifically if individuals can sell like 3 of them) it could breed.

Also, instead of offering just a custom mini rank there could be an option for like 5x prize boxes or custom minirank.

 

I am also going to show some support for this. It will give people more incentive to donate and honestly I think it's a pretty cool feature and people will come up with some dope ideas.

I like the idea, but definitely make it untradeable. It is a reward, a trophy, not something you can try to sell for. Also, how hard would it be to customize your own icon though? Would it need to be done and paid for by a gfx? Don't want a bad looking one.

My suggestion:

Have there be an icon for every donor listing from lowest to highest. They're still supporters of Sythe, whether they are huge donations are not. They are still in the donor's column.

$50 donor and $100 donor barely have any perks. I'm sure people would like to start off at Sythe, make some profit off the market, invest into donor $5,$50,$100 and have an icon to catch their eye on as a encouragement to get to the higher donors.

Why not have an Icon that Says Sythe Proud , with money or coins on it. from small coins to bigger coins. If it's runescape related it'd be easier to have but that's biased so no. If it was have coins animation in 1gp > 100 gp> 1k gp> 100k gp> 1m> 10m > 2147m .

Or if you can just create an icon that shows money in form of bigger liquidity.
