WHat jobs do your parents have? That mighthelp decide where you want to go.

They used to work within sales and renting out appartments.

Move to michigan and if you get to choose somewhere in the upper lower michigan. It's fairly cheap etc. and a Nice place.

 

CONNECTICUT.

we have the the best Northeast state imo.

1. We get NO natural disasters whatsoever.

2. We have the biggest casino in the world.. (look it up) (Foxwoods Casino)
which like millions of people from Japan China etc. only come to Connecticut for.

3. Right near the Atlantic Ocean. only about an hour drive.

4. 100 Degrees F. for summers and like 5 Degrees F for winter.

5. It's just awesome.

 

To the OP: Do you like the cold or the warmth? You like big cities or small cities? Do you like living by the ocean? These will greatly affect where you should move to.

 

I live in NJ it's a good place to live but I wouldn't recommend moving around here. The climate of were you live is similar to Florida. Florida isn't an expensive place to live you may consider moving there. You may want to move a little north to Georgia or one of the Carolina's, they are all relatively inexpensive states to live in. If you were to move to like New York, New Jersey, or Massachusetts it would be much more expensive and much colder then you are used to. Texas could would also be a reasonable place to move to.

Now all they need is a decent school system.

I live in Vermont as well. There isn't a WHOLE lot to do for "inside activities" but if you would enjoy outside stuff like horseback riding, fishing, hiking, golfing, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, boating, swimming, rock-climbing, etc then VT is the right place for you. Beautiful state, if you can mind how cold the winters can get.

Don't move to New York. With an economic crisis going on right now thats one of the worst things you could do. I'm 14, have lived in all of the coastal states. California is way for expensive than Miami or Melbourne Florida, housing prices in FLorida are really low now because of people losing houses and such. New York is cheap and everything is close to you. Move to the Caribbean, you'll be happier.

Orlando don't seem to bad. (Houses in America look so different from Norway and Gran Canaria )

But anywhere in Florida would do I guess.
I'm going to ask my parents about how serious they are about this tomorrow.

 

Ahh, so I see you're focusing on Florida, I live there it's quite nice. I live on the gulf side in a place called Naples, it's rather expensive but when you get farther away from the water it seems the prices drop. Naples, Bonita Springs, and places around there are nice, mostly filled with old-retired people though. Very nice neighbor hoods though for sure, and hardly any crimes, but I must say there's a lot of hispanic around who are illegal-immigrants.

 

Yes water from houses are less expensive. Crime in Florida is increasing especially in Central Florida in areas like Brevard county, Orlando etc. Orlando is VERY congested.

 

Well, we're not planning on moving over illegally.

 

California is great but dont move to those tropical places there's been a few deadly hurricanes these past years
