It's natural to feel regret when making such a big decision. I personally believe you going back home would be best for now. Getting to see your family and friends would be nice and once your home you can make the decision to see if you want to permanently stay or not. Feel free to discord message me whenever you want syfiends my PMs are always open for you ;).

Bit of an update about my inactivity and i hope this clears stuff up,

My ex jumped back with her ex shortly after i left Toronto, i was told that she had no plans of going back with him but as soon as i left they started dating again. In my mind it feels like she's trying to fill the void i left there and is moving too quickly with her new bf which hurts me a lot. I blocked her for a while and she later contacted me asking me to unblock her, she said "i need to know about your life because you were a big part of mine". I did unblock her for a while but just looking at her instagram and snapchat stories makes me feel like shit so i blocked her again just about a week ago. I just hope she understands this is for my peace of mind and not an immature move from me.

As for myself, i gave Mexico City a shot in July and unfortunately, i didn't really like it. i came here for a month only to find out that my home country is very conservative and that people are classist. Girls are straight up unapproachable. I consider myself good looking but the fact that they only care about who you are and how much money you have just bothers me to the core.

I bought a camera and picked up photography as a hobby, travelled around the beaches south and central america for a month and took great photos. Met a shitload of amazing people and had a fucking blast, hadn't felt this happy in months.

Now i'm back home for a while again. I want to use the time here to change the things i don't like about myself, personality-wise i'd like to get rid of all those negative traits i have and deal with all of my insecurities.

@Artur sorry i stopped working in the RSPS, I find zero motivation lately as i am dealing with some personal stuff now and hope to rejoin the project sometime soon. I also stepped down from my moderator position because i don't have time for Sythe right now. I hope you understand i have to fix myself before i start fixing code again.

I also want to apologize to @Mew and @Sneaky Fish5, was supposed to do more regarding the tourney but i fucking lacked there. I am very sorry CDT.

Either way, i think i am going to go back to Toronto and work for a pair of months there. I am about to pay for my flight to volunteer doing elephant care in thailand in december and travel around south-east asia for another month. A little bit scared to do it on my own but fuck it.

PS. sorry if i made some grammar mistakes, my writing is garbageeeee

It's been a pleasure working with you dude, no need for an apology fam you've done more than enough on the rsps and in and around sythe..I'm sure we're all grateful for that <3

gonna agree with Andy on this one, best to keep her blocked imo but i don't know how you really feel or if you want to go back to her in the long run so thats entirely up to you brother, as for all the volunteering- Respect, takes guts to travel the world (especially by yourself) and help the needy/less fortunate.

Hopefully you continue your photography along the way, would love to see an album when you return :D:oops::D

    going to miss you brother,

Get your ass back to Canada, you have way more opportunities there. If you want a higher life quality move back, get your post graduate work permit and then your PR. Move to Alberta for higher wages.

I dont really care about the money tbh but i'm going to get my post graduation work permit and give Toronto another shot. If that doesn't work i think i might go to Australia. I am more of a warm weather guy

Do it. Don't look back just do it. I look back and wish I had made a similar decision in my past.

Well this was about 3 months ago, i did it and i didn't like it here. In a way i feel like i ran away from my problem. Now that i have healed i have decided i am going to give canada one last opportunity before trying some other country.

Glad you're feeling much better about yourself, I keep having dreams that I'm still in Australia and I'm really regretting my decision.

I'm going to really knuckle down and stop going out all the time over the next couple of months and save the money to go back/move to a larger city.

That's any city life honestly, everything and everyone is going by so fast. I can see it so easily between my suburb area and the city near me. Everyone is in a big rush, everyone is very superficial and just very self-centered. I think these types of characteristics come with every city honestly. I'm glad you decided to go back to your old home and rejuvenated yourself, and it's great you've gathered the confidence and motivation to go back and show those fools who's the man. Hopefully everything works out for the best, keep this thread updated! Any news on when you're going back (unless you already have)?

Yea that is the general feeling i have lived in 3 different big citys and they have all felt the same.

The only difference i found was when it was a new city i had stuff to do go explore etc, the city i was from had memory's linked to different places shops cafes bars etc

Sounds dumb but try and maybe do some charity work? i have met some amazing people doing this and has helped me tremendously

Just 2 more days my friend. I'll update this thread in about a week with my feelings about the city. It's probably gonna be post-vacation blues but who knows.
