If your doing to continue using powerbot i suggest downloading a script checker, that looks for parts in the script that may send you info to a address or ip. Ill guess this is more then likely how you got "hack".

edit (after rading other posts): Also wanted to add that (kinda odvious in my opinion but...) IT IS NOT POWERBOT! that steals passwords, its the scripts that you download for use on powerbot, as said above, the ones that you have to self compile.

 

You used a negative script which is told by the powerbot mods to not use the script or iys a sus script.. Check the cooments before you compile it.

 

If you downloaded a questionable script on powerbot it was probably them. On that site you can never be too sure so always look for verification by several people if you don't know how to skim through a script.

Either way it's going to be one less customer for Powerbot, one more customer for Rsbuddy.

 

it was powerbot,its how all my damn friends get hacked.it sucks..

 

i think powerbot is hacking people. it makes sense because no one will believe someone claiming to of gotten hacked from a site that has thousands of users

 

If you've done any recent trades and disclosed any possible passwords that are the same for other websites, people could have gone through your messages, MSN, etc.

Ouch, sorry to hear that. I assume you already know this, but never enter your Runescape information anywhere else except Runescape.com or another Jagex Ltd. website. Also, do not allow Unknown Java applets (such as private servers) access to your computer.

Ohk scanned with many softwares. Nothing wrong at all. Im pretty sure its powerbot.

 

That sucks... I would be worried and scan with something like Kaspersky too unless you're sure it was a script.

 

Seriously, don't even bother with powerbot, Rsbuddy's client is way better.

I do use bought auths, but i still had tthe password saved because I was testing a script for a friend and only used it once.

O well i learnt my lesson
