WTF just happend...

Actually i believe i read some posts about someone being hacked through an IP address. With older computers i think it is possible. But i highly doubt anyone on Runescape is that tech savvy. Just a coincidence that you blue screened.

 

it actually takes no longer then a few minutes to take back the account if u got a email set up on it

 

Was a concidence he could only get your ip, not all your computer information

 

If he have access to the registered email on the account, it won't take him but ~60 seconds to recover it.
All he have to do is go to the recovery page and put the email, it will send him message instantly to change the pw which logs you out if you were on the account.

 

i wouldn't think he did this too you. Just don't take anyone's accounts anymore that aren't trusted.

It's impossible, Runescape is a secure site, and the blue screen couldn't have been related.

 

Blue screen would be a coincidence.

He wouldn't have guessed your password he simply would have recovered.

I lost my bank for the first time when I was like 12 from somebody doing this, they give you the account hoping you'll xfer your bank then simply recover as soon as you do.

Sounds to me like you have no idea what your talking about.

1.) You don't need to know the original password to recover an account.
2.) Blue screen is computer related, not "Giving Account Away" related.
3.) Your fucked :\
