Profile: John Devola
This is Chad/Elite Dust/Saha.
Alright, so here I am. This is going to be a very tedious and rigorous report so I do apologize beforehand. I hate to have this report public but the last time I made a private report I got a lot of backlash and criticism, so this time everything will be public except information that is very sensitive.
Alright so I will provide a backstory just to be transparent and lay out the facts.
The week of the 8th of September was an emotional roller-coaster for me and a week where mistakes were made and lessons were learned. It started off very well with me winning over $50,000 USD by BTC staking. I ended up taking $45,000 from my bank account to pay off my college tuition and my car/buy nice things, I told myself I was done and now was going to proceed to sell the 10+ coins I had. Everything from that point on went downhill, I didn't end up selling the coins but resorted to gambling them. I lost $6k USD to @Matt123 , $8k USD to @Spicy , $26k USD to @Willie and 10b+ 07 that I had purchased. I had lost well over what I was up that week and had $42k less in my bank account as a result of me spending it. After shit hit the fan and I had 0 BTC my gambling addiction started to kick in. I had urges to gamble because I had a mindset to win the money back I lost, but had no money to gamble with. I ended up gambling money I don't have and accumulated debt to many individuals and told them I would pay them back, I kept digging myself a deeper hole until I woke up from my coma and realized that I had a problem.
After I had accumulated a debt of $6,665, John Devola messaged me at the time and informed me he no longer wanted to be a part of Sahagold. I told him at the time that I respect his decision and I would get myself out of debt within a month and hopefully he would return to Saha and have faith in me. About an hour or two later, Www.Sahagold.com was taken offline and the source was stripped, now this is when we started arguing. If he wanted to leave Saha that's fine with me but he doesn't get to take the source with him. The agreement was a partnership, everything was 50/50 from day 1. Now when I approached John this summer and got him on-board, he was all down for the partnership and told me that he would take care of the initial expenses and it wasn't a problem. I ended up spending around $1,000 USD on Saha while John spent around $3,000 USD. Our agreement was 50/50 on profits/expenses disregarding the initial website costs. This was agreed on by both me and John. It's also worth mentioning I put forward several hours towards the business. Anything from registering the LLC/getting legal papers/applying to G2a/building the blueprints for the developers/graphics. On the other hand me being blatantly honest, John was just providing the cash and checking in once in a while which I didn't have a problem with at all because I had everything already planned everything out.
On the 20th of September I ended up calling John's employer and filing a complaint as a result of John not cooperating with me. He took the source which I owned 50% of. In fact by law, I had full/100% ownership of Sahagold LLC. This was a result of John's employer not letting him sign onto the LLC. I filed the LLC in my name only and gave him the 50% ownership on a personal agreement. My intentions of calling John's employer were ultimately at the time to sue john or have him hand over the source. On the 24th of September they called me to follow up in regards to my call but I did John a favor and told them that I wasn't following up w/ it and I was resolving it with John. John got upset I called them and as of today told me regardless of me paying my debts, he isn't giving me the source. So here I am making this report, because I'm planning to buy him out of Saha and own it by myself. I don't want to drag his employer into it again, so I'm making this report.
Below are/were the debts I dug myself into and a lot of them are paid off as of now
$1,000 BTC to @CircleTrader (100% Paid)
$275 BTC to @Searchy (100% Paid)
$1,000 BTC to Prince (100% Paid)
$2,000 BTC to @Willie ($1,000/$2,000 Paid)
$1,780 BTC to @Talon ($780/$1,780 Paid)
$600 BTC to Omar (100% Paid)
As of 9/27/2017 $4,665/$6,665 has been paid.
Back to the report, I told John today that I would buy out his half of Sahagold and what this report today is basically arguing is the disputed amount of how much it cost to buy him out. John is asking for $2,000 which is ridiculous accounting for everything. Hes not accounting for the things that I've already had paid when it was a 50/50 agreement.
What I told John is that $950 is fair for a buyout considering all the efforts I put in. I owned 50% of the source and he paid $1,900 to our developer to have it built and it's all I am after right now.
As previously stated in the last report, if John left Saha and I chose not to buy him out I would still own 50% of the source. Our man to man agreement was 50% ownership of everything, period.
So $950 is what half of the source would be, now to the second part. I will label this individual as "Kinkos" just because he wishes to remain anonymous. We approached Kinkos a while back wanting Kinkos to be a crew leader + our accountant. Kinkos wanted $800 for us to sign him and for him to be our accountant/mentor all new employees. John ended up paying Kinkos the $800 and we wrote an agreement for Kinkos.
A virtual copy of the agreement is in the deleted post below.
One of my arguments here is that in the agreement below Kinkos was binded to Sahagold LLC and that was the contract. John paid to sign Kinkos to Saha. What John doesn't understand is that when he leaves, he can't take Kinkos with me or make me pay for Kinkos because Kinkos is already legally bound to Sahagold LLC.
I'd like for the Sythe staff/Sythe rule on this but at the same time understanding this isn't some fufu ass goofy bullshit, it's the real world and it's a legal entity.
I'm willing to buyout John for $1,000 USD and get my source back, I would like to see what Sythe staff evaluate the source/buyout.
