Item Lending Glitch Thread

I just read this in a topic but an update just happened so it is probably patched now, see if you can figure it out.

I had some thoughts on a glitch that you could enter BH with a borrowed item..

I used an older glitch also known as ninja walk or die and never lose your items because I thought the server will think that you actually entering 'Fight caves', not BH with that item, but when I went to the place in that dungeon where you have to kill youself firstly with zammy brews or w/e else..
I used zammy brews like usual and when i went to 0hp and i thought that i died, i spawned in 'Falador' which is my spawn point when i die, i showed the message: 'OH DEAR, YOU'RE DEAD' or something like the when you die, but i kept all the single of my item... I tried again and still the same :/

Is it that Jagex couldn't do anything about that glitch so they made you die but not lose items so you could not use monkey walk / die and not lose items glitch or is it something else?

Maybe the info might be usefull for item lending glitch too.. :

I just traded my damaged veracs skirt 0 to a friend in trade?? I clicked the wrong item & clicked the v skirt 0 and it traded?? i'm like woah..

Has it always been like that??

Doubt anything will come out, lots of people have tried.. but ehh.. who knows.

 

If you get your account locked, your account still exists and the item can still go to your bank. You just cannot log onto your account.

I don't think you will find a dupe because when you lend out an item the person recieving it does not get the item. They get a totally different item with the same name, same bonuses, same examine info and same animation. The item will have different attributes to it. This is an example for the sake if you still do not understand what I mean, when Jagex makes an item lets just say they have these columns for each item.

So they basically get an item just like the Bandos Godsword, but it isn't.
Thats why when you get lent a godsword it even has a little circle in the middle of it just to signify it's lent or that the hilt is welded onto the blade.
Anyway so every item that you lend out I'm sure jagex made an exact copy of it with limitations so they checked each items attributes.

So the people that say they dismantled the lent godswords, I'm sorry but that is false. I even tried it as soon as it came out my friend was like what the heck is this red circle in the middle of the godsword, I was like what?...

I found one, but its not completely permanent so if anyone can actually make it perm, you could try:

1. Get someone to lend you a Sara sword till you log out.

2. Weild it, then click 'house option' where you go to turn on building mode, but just leave it there don't move your character.

3. The lender logs out while your on house options tab.

4. Logs back in, then you should STILL HAVE the ss, and the other person should check the place where you talk to a banker to get your item back, and you both should have one.

The downside if you click somewhere the ss will be on gone, and it says:
The owner has logged out, and has been returned to its original owner..weird huh?

 

What if you teleport somewhere, have you tried that?

 

Idk but you gotta keep the tab on house options or it will be gone..

 

nice find, im we all here will find a way we just got to not give up and keep on trying, is there any glitch ppl could do in building mode? or try putting the ss on a table and telegrab it or something o.o?

 

same as forbidden said, if you have a quest guide up you can still have the item...

 

Can you lend arrows? I haven't played RuneScape in like 6 months... If you can, buy arrows and Poison or Super Poison them?

Or.... have a friend let you borrow a part of a set (Rune Kite, Mith Legs), and you buy the rest of the set, make it into a set and sell it?

 

I know this won't dupe the item, but what if I lent someone an item, and then had my bank too full to have anything else added in there, as well as having my inventory completely full? What will happen to the item when the timer is up?

Nevermind, I think I read somewhere else that your item goes to a separate box that you must speak to a banker to access?

i personally dont believe in the dismantle thing tbh. Jagex is an multi-millionaire company, i doubt they'll make such big mistakes

 

just dont lend any items until jagex have claimed that they fixed it or after like a month or something
