Snoop Dogg/The Notorious B.I.G/Run DMC are the best rappers alive, and they're not even mentioned! All the new rap nowadays are about the same thing, bitches, money, killing people. These guys, they talked about that yeah, but they were so diverse with there lyrics that it was ok.

Are you retarded? The Notorious B.I.G aka Biggie Smalls was killed in 1997, 1 year after Tupac was killed. Biggie and Tupac had a coast-to-coast rapper war going on. Biggie in the east, Tupac in the west. They were both likely killed because of the intensity level between the two.

Guys, this isn't about who was the best single, or the most singles, it's about who has the best rapping skill.

I like T-Pain, but you can't even consider him because he isn't that good without synthesizers (Kiss Kiss)

Jay Z is alright, I just don't really like him because he's 38. But his song 99 problems shows he has good skill.

Lil Wayne is up there. He is the best free styler. If you just listen to the MTV crap like Sweetest Girl and things like that, then your not going to know his real potential. Look for his underground stuff, and not just songs from either of the Carter albums. All of you, download 9mm, (David Banner Feat. Snoop Dog, Akon and Lil Wayne) you will see that Lil Wayne has the best part in there, while David Banner just goes off what Lil Wayne says and connects it all with the number 9.

Soulja Boy is only known for Crank that soulja boy, which is a club banger.. it just repeats itself, nowhere near the best rapper alive.. i dont think any mainstream rapper is the best besides eminem, Dre and 50.. except the majority of 50's last album was pretty shit i'll admit lol..
