I'm with hahanerd, Contacts are amazing - peripheral vision is great too as opposed to glasses, and handling contacts is pretty damn simple.

Still, if the surgery went fine I'm happy for you. Hope you make a full recovery soon.

 

I've also heard not everyone can use contacts

 

Contacts didn't work for anyone in my family, I am the only one who wears them. Sometimes if they are in too long they start to stick.

I feel 'free' with my contacts since 2 years Haven't u ever considered them?

Guess I'll stay with contacts for the rest of my life, I don't have enough balls to get eye surgery ^^

 

I used to wear contacts, but with my astigmatism, my vision with contacts wasn't that great. Plus, with the surgery, I don't have to worry about putting them in/taking them out every day. I wake up in the morning and BAM, I can see.

This might have been mentioned before but does the surgery hurt being done by lasers? . Anyways congrats on finally getting rid of the glasses.

I been wearing glasses for almost 10 years now, maybe I should get this doen as well. Still kinda scared about it.

 

One of my eyes is brilliant but the other is just makes me see BLurrr when I take my glasses off so if I went ahead and got this too would they do both eyes or just the bad one? Also was it expensive?

E: Seems lots of people are interested in the experience so yeh tell us!? Is there a chance you could actually go completely blind if the procedure went horribly wrong? (Not you of course seeing as you are happy but others like me in the future.)

 

Could have returned the glasses.. Got like £100 for em.
