You don't need to make a video. Are you sure you're using the actual command prompt? Command.com is not the same thing. Many viruses also rename the executables needed for commands. Maybe the directory where the executables are located has been renamed, or removed from the path?

If you have a restore CD, you can easily restore them, or you can just copy them over from the same version windows.

If you can access the command "set" on your computer, type that in. It should show a bunch of environment variables. Look for "PATH". C:\Windows\System32 should be there. If not, then you can be sure that the directory was removed. Well, actually, if it was removed, you shouldn't be able to run set either, unless you had some other copy, in which case you would not need the system32 files but whatever.

    Run some virus scans.

Post more on the situation, and I'll be able to help more.

5 virus scanners might be the problem. They interfiere with each other so maybe get one good one? Can you list the ones you have? Also if you have the Boot CD the computer came with you might deside to reformat if nothing works.

I suppose that the only thing you could do would be to obtain a copy of the files.
