I hate botters.

Some of us feel that our life is better spent not sitting on the computer for 400 hours getting 99 mining. Btw, if you're wondering if it's still fun to get high skills without working, it definitely is. Also, your whole attitude is kinda rude, if it weren't for botters, you'd be paying at least twice as much for every basic supply out there.

For the record, I'm not fat. If anything, it's because I don't waste time mindlessly clicking rocks that I have time to do things like exercise, eat healthily, etc. If you ran a BMI study on botters vs. "legit" players, I'm sure the botters would be significantly healthier

 

I agree with you, even though I'm a botter myself. First of all, all you have to do is take a quick browse through botting forums and everyone there is a fucking dumbass troll. They constantly bitch and make fun of the game and they make fun of nonbotters for having no lives (when they themselves spend countless hours simultaneously lurking forums and babysitting). Most of them are too stupid for their own good anyways.

I actually do enjoy the game, and yeah, I'll babysit my bot once in awhile, but I typically run it overnight.

 

Mhhhh yes I am real fat. Go in the tiny chat thingy and I can show you I am about as far from fat as it gets.. Without being anorexic. I don't see what the problem is though. Botters keep things like rune ess and bow strings cheap for other people to get 99 skills quickly.

 

I hardly ever bot, yet I don't hate them. Botting is a skill. Without skills you'll get banhammered, just a matter of time. Your friends that babysit their accounts when botting are able to get theirselves back under the radar by responding. They don't have to focus and bother clicking, whilst people like you and me would have to. So at the end of the line they're not that stupid; gotta give them that.

Botting is the best thing since sliced bread. I can get a TON of tedious work in runescape done without doing it myself(I can also go out, study IRL - do something with my life), leaving myself to reap the reward and have FUN(which tedious tasks are not), which is why I play GAMES. I acknowledge that I can be banned for it, that's a risk you take. If you're good at it however, it won't come to that.

 

Agree with some points, i don't really care if someone is botting too, i know botting places and just trying to stay out of them =)

 

I bot because my mother says that if i sit at the computer all day ill get bad eye sight so i sit at the computer 30 mins a day just to turn the bot on and 2 hours for pking

But seriously, why do you care? Botters don't screw up your game. Sure it makes having 99's slightly less special to those who've "worked" for them, (When I say worked, I mean wasted their lives clicking away at meaningless pixels), but seriously if you think the game is fun then just ignore it! Jagex ruined the game with their patches to "fight botters" and that's when I started botting (rofl). I don't find the game fun enough to actually play anymore. Botting is the only way to make it fun. It's just neat to see the progression that I used to work so hard for.

I find it pretty fucked up that you claim fat people as lazy. I have a lot of fat ass friends who will work harder than you will in your lifetime. (while you're playing RuneScape, most likely)

I'm sorry to hear that you don't like botters... but this thread isn't going to solve the problem. You didn't pose any solutions. In fact it's only going to create more disagreement.
