How do bans work now for botters?

Fake. Notice he said his second ban was 21 days, well, in the top text it says next time hes caught, he will be banned for an extra 9 days, not 7, 21+9 = 30 days, not 28.

I believe it means he was banned for 19 days and his next warning will be 28 days (+9).

 

Rofl mann, ur fine, i suicided 9 days b4, got 1-94 mage.. ur fine.. its been 2 months since i did that, and im not banned, so, i sure hope it stays that way. plus my mate, he soul wars botted a pure, all 1 def in 3 months of suiciding he maxed it he did that like, 6 months ago. and hes fine too, so if i were u, i would set up a bot and watch it for an hour or two, make sures its good and pro b4 leaving it. but as i said, u shouldnt have any trouble unless u have absolutely shit luck.

I was just curious how the whole system worked now. When I used to bot on RSC, if you got caught once you were permanently banned with no warning.

 

It's usually 14 days > 21 days > perm

But sometimes first time you may get a perm.

There seems to be a rumor going around that Jagex has gone back to permanently banning for macroing with no warning.

 

i just got banned with no 14 day (i botted 1-90 hunt)

BUT! on my main i botted 75-85 hunt and i received a 14 day ban (THANK FUCKING GOD!!)

so basically if u bot heaps of levels u will get a perm ban, if u only bot a few levels you will either get off scott free or receive a 14 day banned.

 

In my opinion it depends on the bot. The most popular bot is hunter of course, hundreds of botters have received 99. Therefore pushing legit players out or from the highscores... Then the next reported bot for people getting banned for is RC... We all know the amount of money this bot makes, and jagex doesn't want anymore money into the game.

I've still been botting 24/7 and if you've seen my last post I'm going onto 60 days now. Nothing happened on the 4th, 5th or 6th.. The main bots I use are autosorcgarden and autosoulwars pro. I seem to still be safe.

Stay away from hunter/rc bots for a couple of weeks and try other bots (I never used a RC or hunter bot on my account). If my main ever gets banned I'll post up a proggy. The green bar in my appeal offence is still bottom minimum. I get reported all the time too, not only that but about 40 days after my botting period the only thing I got a message from jagex for was to change my in-game username lol. Jagex are fucking weird, no doubt.

 

Notice that there is 19 days left until the ban gets lifted? so 19+9 = 28 unless you fail at math.
But i can understand why you would say that, because how the fuck am i going to get banned while i am banned....thought the same thing when i say it.

 

Pretty sure it's this way now. It used to be perm once caught, but JaGeX realised they were losing too much money, so eased up.

Jagex doesn't know what bot you're using when they ban you.

 

Oh? So what you're saying is if I for example was training my hunter for 24/7 for about a month jagex wouldn't know what bot I was using? Not only that but have you ever heard of a skiller, or the highscore tables to see your highest stat? Or the fact that jagex can check where you are in-game (a hunter hot-spot for example)

If you're in one place for extended periods of time, for example: hunter. It's obvious what you're doing dude, like wtf lol.

 

How would they know what bot you're using?

You could be using AutoHunter Pro, Perfect Hunting, AutoHunter NX or another bot. Jagex has no way of knowing which specific bot you're using.

You should of said, instead, they ban you depending on what skill you're training, not what bot you're using.

I apologize for calling you an idiot, but next time clearly specify what you mean

 

Someone suggested that maybe its the account, because it seems like if you've been playing for a while (like a main or something) you don't get permed, but a fresh level 3 going for 99 hunter will. I'm not entirely sure if this is right, but it makes some small amount of sense.
