How do bans work now for botters?

Back when I played Runescape Classic Jagex would ban you permanently when they catch you botting, but I know everything has changed since then. How does Jagex handle botters now? Do you still get permanently banned the first time you're caught or is there a warning system now?

 

its a 14 day ban now then a 21 then a perm ban.

Is there anyway you can confirm this officially; like is it on the Runescape website or anything?

Can someone else confirm this? I just want to be 100% sure I have the right information before I start botting.

First of all, in RSC they reset your stats.
Now, they seem to switch from perm bans to 14 day (first offence), 21 day (second offence), then perm ban (third offence.)
They switch between the two.

 

It's actually 14-21-28-perm. After each offence it will actually tell you what type of ban you'll receive if you repeat. Like if you get a 14 day temp, it will say the next time they'll ban you for an extra 7 days(14+7=21).

 

Well then, here's some new questions.

1) Who has gotten banned before for autoing?

2) What bot were you using and what were you autoing?

3) How long did they ban you for and what did it say your next ban will result in?

 

I am a member in multiple botting forums.. So don't lie about a 28 day ban. There is NO 28 day ban... As I stated, it's 14-21-Perm.

If it's different provide a picture of you receiving a 28 day ban.

 

14 21 perm as stated i been botting a pure suicide went from 1 to 75 wc for 3 days straight and no ban

 

1st = 14 days
2nd= 21 days
3rd= 28 days
4th= perm

There ya go.

 

Can I get a few players, who have been banned autoing before, to answer these questions?

By the time you get to your 3rd temp, this information will be obsolete.
As I said before, check your offence history (at any given time) and it will INFORM you if a future ban will be temporary or if it will be permanent.
This could be changed by Runescape at any time.

 

I don't think there are 100% answers, cause by the time you get to the point were you are banned the rules might have changed and the length of bans might also change. Jagex can change this at any time, personally I didn't know about a 28 ban O_O.

You won't even get caught for botting most of the time... unless you suicide, or it's not an auth. They are actually really lenient on people using bots. 3 chances and you aren't even permanently banned. Just for a year. Jagex keeps on saying that they are going harsher on botting, but it's ironic because they are doing the exact opposite.

 

I sure hope I don't get banned.
