    I need help with what to eat. I want to lose weight. I weigh the most ive ever weighed. Im 26 years old and i weigh 300 pounds. I want to lose weight for my kids. I want to be able to take them to the park and play with them. I want to be able to go sledding in the winter time, and actually be able to walk up and down the hill multiple times.

    I dont know how to eat healthy, and i also dont have any discipline. So i need help with everything basically.

    Weight loss can be a hard thing for some people but on the other hand that doesn't mean that you should really starve yourself with physical exercises and dieting. You just need to be motivated and patient because it'll be long and need self-control from you, especially considering your current weight. But with such approach I'm sure that you'll be able to lose your weight so don't give up even before the beginning ;)
    Correct your daily menu, stop eating junk food if you like it, and add in it more vegetables and fruits. Stop skipping breakfast, eating at night and having snacks during the day. Drink a plenty of water during the day, it's very helpful for the weight loss and general cleansing of your body. Start to make physical exercises, choose the ones which you'll really like and don't skip your workouts. Correct your sleep schedule for making the sleep better and reducing your stress during the weight loss. These ones are the main tips for achieving succes in your case.
    I also recommend you to have a medical examination before the start because such massive weight gain be caused with hormonal imbalance or other diseases. For example, lack of human growth hormone www.hgha.com/hgh-deficiency-diagnosis , progesterone, testosterone etc. is a common reason for this and without the medical treatment all your work can become useless or too hard in case of vivid results.

    You wanna get fit and healthy? It is a mindset, You have to be motivated to be fit and healthy and ontop of this you need to think to yourself on a mental note that your amazing. Lots of people want to lose weight cause they are ashamed of being "fat" but you should never feel this way. Be proud of who you are, now onto getting healthy. The easiest thing I could suggest which is difficult is following some vegan diet plans, these will help your body out while decreasing overall body fat.

    You need to have discipline otherwise you'll have no results. You'll need to cut calories in general to lose weight.

    Assuming you're not active, I suggest keto diet. You eat under X amount of carbs (probably around 25 for you), and replace it with HEALTHY fats (like nuts/butter/oil even mayo is ok). Keto burns fat instead of carbs to use as energy - very effective for losing body fat %.

    Cut all sugar completely, deal with the headache and the cravings for a little - it will all be over soon.

    Fasting has so many health benefits. Start small, 12 hr fast. So for 12 hours you are not able to eat (midnight to noon), then for 12 hours you can eat your daily macros. Then make the window smaller - 16/8. 8 hours to take in your calories. During this time your body will go on auto pilot and burn your energy reserves (aka your body fat)

    You will also have heightened senses, and able to maintain focus better. It's also a good reward tool to help you meet daily goals outside of health.

    i.e. "I won't break my fast until I finish painting the bed room"

    Very simple. Eat less, move more. You know what’s healthy and what’s not. You know how to exercise. Don’t make excuses and just do it.

    And to speak to the discipline and motivation: if you really want to play with your kids, you will do it and see it through. Anything less is saying you don’t care enough to play with your kids and enjoy their childhood with them to eat healthy and take care of yourself (I know that’s not the case in context, but on paper that’s what it says).

    Also, if you want to be around when they get married, have kids of their own, etc., it starts now. The motivation is all there, it’s just the way you’re approaching it.

    Meal prepping would be a great place to start. This will help with managing your calorie/fat/carb/protein intake.
