very nice guide, now add "don't download things from fagex" to it.
The fagex "private server client" got edited by some corrupt staff, and ended up keylogging me with a VERY well coded trojan. This resulted in a loss adding up to about 250million gp.

Staff eventually admitted it was edited by someone in a high position, but never felt like apologizing, let alone refunding.

EDIT: Forgot to add: Try to avoid the use of the swiftswitch client. Some keyloggers specifically target it for embedding, as it's an easier task than a simple, official runescape client which is a small and simple program.
Besides, world switching has recently been made allot easier by jagex, making the more simple world switchers unecessary.

i got avg free edition but it doesnt always come up with the option "scan files" why?
